Since the super bowl weekend, I have been on a tear at the tables. I am having no problem making $900/hr. Even after missing my steelers wager on the super bowl, I have been playing a few a hours a day and profiting over 3 grand a session. I have been jumping from casino to casino and moving on after I make my profit of $900 within that hour. Sometime, I hit right away and go to the next table and than times it takes almost the hour to make the $900.

I have made over $50,000 tax-free profit since the super bowl and now it is time for a little vacation. I am leaving for a weekend to Durango, CO, to do some skiing with friends. And after that, I am planning a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras; then to Mississippi in search of the wheatman.

Sorry wheatman, but I am hopping on a plane to Mississippi. Well, actually just renting a auto and driving up to play some craps after Mardi Gras. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for someone on the big odds table tossing around large wagers. So be on the watch for me. I’ll be wearing a all black Old Navy wind breaker w/ a small “Players Run” logo on the front.

I’ll need to build up my stake a little to pay for my redfish fishing trip in Gulf Shores, AL, after Mardi Gras.

well, gotta go, have just enough time to caught my plane. I will let everyone know if I find Mississippi’s favorite one and how things get done in the end.

Linda and I left S/B Casino after the PT Event -

I must admit -

I was a little dis-appointed in the results -

I was down -

We envisioned being up -

My loss limit was exceeded by about $100.- -

My B/I was 2K - I was going to limit the loss at $500.-

That came and went -

Anyhow -

After the PT event -

I had a $25 Match coupon for Trump Taj -

Well,

Who would have figured - S/B and Trump Taj -

Are like Siamese whores - attached at the wallet -

So - off we trek - thru the slot machine area - being a Viet Nam veteran and a Police Officer -

I led Linda by the hand thru this mine field - and - mercifully - we escaped - unscathed -

Arrived at the Taj - 4 tables open - all $10 min - 1st table we encountered - DarthVader - lurking at SO - Right - 1-2 shooters -

Meandered around the pit - came back to the 1st table - DV was coloring out - table vacant -

EXCEPT ME -

Bought in $200 - placed $10 PL bet - set for the 4/3 - 5/2-

Lucky Me - ” 7 - winner - Pl winner ” - Parlay the win - guess what ” 7 Winner ” - Parlay the win - Guess what - just as I suspected - ” Craps - Ace-Duece ” -

Okay - Throw my second $10 bet on the PL - and guess what - ” 7 winner 7 ” - parlay to $20 - and guess what ” winner 7 Pass line winner ” -

Now we have $40 on the PL and put the $25 Match Play coupon into play -

Set for the all 7’s as I’ve been doing all along - catch the 3-3 Hard 6 - point is six -

I figure - okay - piece of cake - no problemo -

As I just got my ass kicked at SB at the PT event - and only being here because of the Match Play coupon -

I decided to play it close to the vest -

Stay with the PL parlay and the MP coupon -

Hit the six - pick up checques - go to cashier cage - go to GSP North - go home -

Well - the Dice Gods had other plans for me different from my game plan -

Set the 2V - 6/4 top side - 5/5 facing me - my standard point cycle set -

I kid you not - much to my chagrin - and Linda was at my side - and the dealers were sympathyzing with me -

I hit every point # time and again - everyone - except the friggin’ 6 -

On my next to last roll one the dice landed in the ” bowl ” -

The dealer next to me said - the six is coming ! -

And I thought to myself - Yeah - Right ! -

Well - suffice it to say he was 90% correct -

The next number was my six - PLUS 1 !

Sad part about it is - if I did not have my tail between my legs from the earlier loss -

And if I had played my usual game -

I would have cleaned up -

Another lesson learned !

Hello gents,
Just to introduce myself I am new to the forum but have been reading the threads for awhile when I first started playing to get little tips.

But back to the topic at hand. I am going to Vegas Sept 19th-23rd and will take Caesars for 100k

Yes I called CPLV a few night ago and tried to transfer 35k to the cage until I learned the rules of the house by doing this. I was unaware you could not have any access to that money once its
transferred to the cage until “u cash in” and complete the 1099 tax forms. Bullshit

So after a discussion with Caesars employee we decided the best course of action is travelers checks that can be cashed at the window and turned into chips at the table and i can control when and where
I cash in during the week to limit taxes.

Plan is to warm up the first night with craps at Bally’s, Planet Hollywood, CP, Belagio and Hard Rock depending. Get my dice sets down, feel for my game and then around second night slam them hard.

Now I have heard that CPLV has never not given action to a bet. I hope thats true because I plan to make some monster lay bets on the come out roll and I would hate for them to not want to give action to me on a 60k lay bet.

Let the 7’s rain down from the Heaven’s….......

I received an invite from a friend in Reno, NV. She wanted together for a weekend of skiing. I made the trip, knowing that the condition are less than favorable for skiing.

We enjoyed a morning of skiing and took the afternoon off; I haven t been up in the mountains for awhile, I must be getting to old. While re-cooping in the hot tub, my friend decided for us the evening activities. She wanted to eat red meat and go to the casino to do a little gambling. She knows that I love to play craps and that I don t venture near a table during football season.(It has been a rough season, but i am still in the black.)

Well, we went to dinner and later hit the casino floor. I felt like a toady just kinda following her around. She suggested that I lighten up and hit the craps table. After some debate, she offered to put up half the stake as long as she could keep all the profits; I agreed.

We halved the stake of $250 and found a table w/ $5 min/5X the odds. I started all wrong. I played out of place, since the number one spots were occupied on both sides of the dealer; And they both had sizable chip stacks in front of them. I personally would have waited or found another table(they only had one $5 table), but her impatient demeanor put me at the number seven spot. I was four spots away from shooting.

By the time the dice reached me I was up just slightly. I generally pass the dice on my first play out, but she insisted I shoot the dice. I wagered a working $30 place on the SIX and EIGHT on the come out, w/ $40 on the DONT PASS line and hopped a $4 2-way FIVE. I pointed the SIX, collected the payout on the SIX and down it along w/ the DONT PASS line wager. Then I wagered $10 on the PASS LINE w/ 3X the free odds of $30, returned on the $4 hopping 2-way FIVE and bet $10 on the FIELD and the COME. I rolled back to back sixes and collected my payout. I thought I was on my way.

On the next come out, I continued working the placed $30 EIGHT along w/ the come point SIX w/ 3X the odds of $30. I returned on the hopping $4 2-way FIVE and back to a $40 DONT PASS line wagers. And rolled a SEVEN. Ugh! I got right back in w/ my regular come out wager and pointed the TEN. Again, thought I gonna turn the tables in my favor.

I reduced my $30 place bets on the SIX and EIGHT to $18 each, placed the FIVE for $15 and the NINE for $10 w/ $5 FIELD and a $5 HORN HIGH ACE-DEUCE. And wagered the remaining stake of about $135 behind the DONT PASS bet. I continued rolling the dice until the odds built up to $400 behind the “NO SHOW” point of TEN. Now, I am hoping to see that SEVEN. I keep on rolling numbers, but since I have reached max odds on my DONT PASS bet I start to LAY the TEN. I get close to about $80 on the LAY bet when I roll the TEN. Ugh! I keep positive mind and take $5 off the NINE, keep all my bets working and wager a $5 PASS LINE, $5 FIELD, and $5 HORN HIGH ACE-DEUCE on the next come out. And ZOWIE, I am ONE roll off, what a time for the SEVEN to show it s face. I walked away w/ money for a night cap; shoulda, coulda, woulda.

I gotta say that this has not happened to me for quite a long time. I can still count on my fingers the number of times this has happened in the past 10 years. SO, my friends, this is some money that the casino got back today. I should have stuck to my guns and not played. I decided that I was gonna only play have my weekly stake of the NFL to make up for the loss. I sure wasn t in the penalty box w/ my friend!

I posted a few weeks ago when I knew I was headed to KC for business. No response on games in the area but did some research. Four casinos in the KC area - Argosy, Harrahs North, Ameristar, and Isle of Capri.

Read up on each house and heard that Isle of Capri offered 3 dollar mins. I veered away to avoid the dollar check crabs. Got here on Tuesday and decided on a $600 roll for the three days. 2 Sessions per day, $100 buy in, $50 win goal, $50 loss limit. First night, I knew I’d only get one session in due to business, so I decided to check out Harrahs. Ok house….choppy tables, but did OK on pass bets with 1 to 2 x odds, and placing the 6 and 8 with one unit presses every other hit. Im not a huge better, but just love the excitement of the game. Came out 20 down. Harrah’s offers fire bets and I typically throw a dollar on every shooter. No fire hits at Harrah’s.

Next night I decided on Ameristar. 4 tables with one being crapless. I had a much better time here and managed to make about 40 bucks. Great dealers and the other players were fun to be around. No dark siders, as folks were hitting 2 to 3 points before going out. Threw dollar fire on every shooter with no avail. Most points made all night…...3.

Two days down and im feeling pretty good. Finished business early today and headed over to Ameristar for my last session. Buy in for 200 (went against my rules…...bad mistake) and get taken to the cleaners…Never seen such a choppy table. On the Do - point, seven out. Switch to the Dont - people hit points, and I’d either lost my DP at that point or DC bets were taken down by number hits. Im betting table mins at this point and throwing a buck fire bet out each shooter. I figure at this point, I’ve bought in for 200, I’m down to about 30 bucks, Ive had fun this week….why not play the rack clean. Still only -200 into my 600 roll for the week.

Last shooter is a younger woman, with two guys she’s with on either side at the far end of the table. Im stick left 3. I lay a 2 dollar fire bet and ready up with my 6 and 8 place bets for table mins (6 each). Theres one other buck check Fire bet up. Two to my left. No Pass bet for me, as Im low on the rack and really dont have the odds checks I need. I dont know what it is about women who just walk up to the table with 20 bucks in chips, but I guess their blatant disregard for dice setting, luck, etc is appealing to me. No influence whatsoever. Just toss and go. Cool as a cucumber in the fridge veggie drawer. She had 5 on the pass…..little did i know what was about to happen.

I dont remember the order of the points hit, but I know she started out with the higher odds points. 5 or 9, then 8 and 6. Funny thing was the last two points hit were 10 then 4. Unreal. I talked to someone at the table who was semi-tracking her. She it 11 points and multiple numbers inbetween. Meaning if she hit 11, and each individual point, she had to have repeated a point up to 5 times.

The whole time, my end of the table is swimming in chips. Making bank on the numbers and pass wins. I stick with my hit, take, press method on the 6 and 8 and move outward from there. At one point I believe I had the 5,6,8,9 pressed 3 units (20 on 5 and 9 and 25 on 6 and 8). After getting to 3 unit presses on the 5-9, I just took down winnings and stuck with same bets, scared of the big red. The funny thing is, nobody at her end was placing ANYTHING. She was literally smoking and nobody was taking advantage. It was unreal. Our end of the table was baffled. I was up to 250 in my rack….

She hits the ten and I’m already jacked because the firebet odds are 4 points - 25to1…....5 points - 250to1….and 6 points 1000to1….Ive got 500 in my pocket and one of the hardest points to make is left. First come out roll is yo, next is 3/1. We’ve got our point. The other guy on the firebet is so confident of her shooting that he buys the 4 for somewhere on the order of 400 bucks. He has no pass bet. I have no idea what he paid in juice. First roll after point established is a 6, then an 8. We are hooping and hollering….its one of those rolls…..one of those rolls that you just hope you get to be a part of. Her next roll is short compared to her previous rolls. It hits the side wall in front of me….one die stops there and is a 1…..the other rolls about three turns and lands on 3…....I remember that specifically because every roll of the dice after the 4 points for the first firebet payout were made had my UNDIVIDED attention. I was really worried that a no roll would be called, but she hadn’t been short the whole hand. Stick calls a 4 and its PARTY TIME!!!! I must have made an ass of myself, because it felt like I jumped 5 feet in the air…..

Fire bet conquered!! 2000 bucks and a roll I’ll never forget. Her next point is 8 or 9 and she sevens after setting the point. The table gives a huge hand and we all give her congrats. But whats to congratulate?......all she’s done is take down her point hits…...no place bets….no fire bet….I bet she made somewhere on the order of 70 bucks….I felt bad. I told the stick to watch my chips, and grabbed two 25 checks for her. She TURNED THEM DOWN!! I told her that she’d just made me a hell of a lot of money, but she said “keep it”.

Boss comes over after that and unfortunately, fire bet wins are considered table game “jackpots”, therefore carrying tax implications. It must have taken 45 minutes to get paid. Missouri gaming commission on the review, house camera review, etc. Meanwhile, boss still has my ID. Finally I see the guy come from the double doors next to the cage (which is right by the craps tables). After all said and done, I elected to pay Missouri state, as well as federal tax. I dont play enough to consider gaming wins/losses, and I like to be a good American and pay Uncle Sam his due….therefore not owing next April. Bosses were congratulatory and I tossed the table a $100 toke.

After all said and done, I walked with 1,420 bucks from the fire win, wenched out of the tight grip of Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri. Plus, the 250 or so I got back from place bets. I could “what if” the thing to death….what If id thrown 5 on the fire, or kept pressing my place bets…..but I have no regrets….

I hit a 4 point fire bet in Stateline, NV at Tahoe once for 25 bucks. It was exciting, but never did I think I’d see all six points hit, let alone be a part of it in the fire bet.

What a memorable roll!

Ill try and post the tax receipt for the doubters when I get back home to my scanner…..

Good luck at the tables all!!

Linda and I cashed out after playing 1 -2 hours at the Showboat -

Still inside the casino - only because I was still sucking on my Heinkien Beer -

We - on my suggestion - checked out the craps pit - on our way to the elevators to the parking garage -

Had 1/2 - 3/4 of a bottle of beer - so we were gonna be somewhere for a few -

Watched a fellow SL1 winging and flinging the dice into the hook curvature of the back wall -

The dice rebounded off that area with so much force that after every throw the stick and dealers had to hunt and search as to where they were and then - ascertain the outcome -

Got the picture -

This dude ( shooter ) has 5 -6 ORANGE chips in his rack -

Betting semi-conservatilly - ? -

After a few throws I remark to Linda -

” Look at that stack of $25 chips on the Hard Eight ” -

” Do you F*n’gn Believe that ? “

After a few throws and losses on the H8 bet -

We/I observed that the bettor was not the shooter who was SL1 -

But was in fact the player located SR1 -

In about the 5 minutes it took me to down my ” free ” Heinieken beer -

This ” player ” at SR1 lost close to if not more than $1,000.-

Betting $200.- a throw on the HardEight -

ONLY PROBLEM BEING -

From my standpoint was the following -

Shooter was ” winging/flinging” dem bones -

Shooter was not setting the dice / just tossing ” into the bowl ” what was pushed to him by the stick -

RocketScientest @SR1 apparently could not see what I saw because the ” stick ” blocked his view -

As with all short stories - this one also comes with a happy ending -

Although player @ SR1 got f^ckd - shooter @SL1 woke up the next morning with more than 1 smile on his face !
