$44 inside, smart play for the “right” player!

I remember seeing a video on you tube a couple of years ago…......concerning “right” betting.
I dont remember the name of the host in the video. But, he stated if everyone that played craps, used this style of play….......the casinos would change the rules of the game! Now, that’s a bold statement. But remember he said…....“everyone”.
This is the the play he stated. By-pass the comeout roll and just place $44 inside, whatever the point is (one $5 unit on the 4, 5, 8, and 9. Wait three rolls of the dice, hoping to get a score on one of the place bets. If you dont get a hit, take down your bets and wait for the next shooter. If you do, then take down the 5 and 9, and reduce the 6 and 8 to $6 each. So…..............after the initial score, you have $14 profit with $12 at risk on the table. A 7 leaves you with $2 profit for that shooter, and another hit on either the 6 or 8 gives you a $21 profit. Then take down your bets and wait for the next shooter.
He did offer an offshoot of going to $22 inside and trying to get a third score. That has you risking $1 to win $28 and fighting the powerful 7. Or you can just take the $21 profit and await the next shooter. There are many different ideas of how to play after the initial hit….....but this is a definite play that gets my attention. Of course, incorporating a “win goal” and a “loss limit” based on your bankroll is a must!

I turely believe those who think they can beat craps/earn a living at it are delussional….every bet has a built in house advantage no matter how you cut it.
On the other hand i think guys that make low risk bets can usally go to a brick and motar casino and either do well or not get smoked most of the time.

I saw one genius on here advise a newbie to make a place bet as opposed to a come bet is that guys kidding me ? LOL
The come bet offers a 2 to 1 edge on THAT throw.

Anyway on to my math ? i believe if you can successfuly get by 2 come bets (dependent on the numbers rolled) you are either at equal odds vs a win loss or at and advantage.
example… 4 - 10 six ways to make that vs 6 ways to seven = 50/50 to hit at least one bet….5 - 8 9 ways to win at least one vs 6 ways to lose….in this case you hhave a 50% better chance to win one bet vs lose both.
Take Double odds on you numbers at all times…..on the 4 - 10 the house edge would be about 3.6 to 4%...I believe if you were able to take 4 times odds on that bet the house edge then becomes about 2% is that correct ?
on the 5 -9 example the house edge would be less then 2%.....you say you are still at a disadvantage ? of course but at such low % you could play for hours without getting smoked….I also believe tru the course of the night you’re gonna catch a hot shooter or two that is even likely to put you into + advantage land at least for that particular night.

Last but not least i noticed on my last 4 trips to ac (maybe coincidence) all the best rolls came from the guys no more then 2 people removed from the box man…...makes sense to me…..i don’t like when a guy has to toss from the far end of the table.

I live in the Midwest and I don’t have very many opportunities to go to Vegas so I had a thought. Could two guys go to a busy table on opposite ends and bet opposite pass/don’t pass for say $25. at that point only the 12 can hurt you (pass line). Once the point is established both of you take full odds say 10x You wont win any but you won’t lose any either but you will be rated pretty high right??

I for one set for the 7’s on my come-out roll(s) -

My set is the ” No 4 / No 10 Seven Set ” -

This is simply the Hardway Set with a double pitch on one die or a single forward/backward pitch of both dice -

For clarification, I will explain -

All my dice sets begin with the HardWay set -

4 - 4 on the top faces and 5 -5 on the faces towards me -

This puts the 1 -1 to the left - the 6-6 to the right -

And the 3-3 at the bottom and the 2-2 on the away faces -

This set is referred to as the No4/No10 set because if the dice are on axis your’e likleyhood of making a 7 is greatly increased -

While your’e likleyhood of shooting a 4 or 10 is significantly decreased -

In fact -

There is only 1 way to make the 4 or 10 with this set -

That is a 2-2 four and a 5-5 ten -

However -

There are 4 ways to hit the 7 -

2-5, 5-2, 4-3 and 3-4 -

How many times have you set for and produced 7’s on the come-out rolls -

Many, many times -

What was your ” return of investment ” -

If like me - I only had a Pass Line bet -

It was a pissy 1-1 -

For some or most -

That is an acceptable return -

No longer for me -

I am going to begin to ” Lay against the 4 and 10 ” on my come-outs - parlay the wins - and take them down when a point is established -

There are 2 other dice sets which afford the same advantage against the 6/8 combo and the 5/9 combo -

Also with these you are ” laying less to win more ” -

That works for me -

Does anyone here play this method -

I have not seen it in play either in AC or PA -

ALL AC Casinos allow you to place a minimum $1 ” HOP ” bet on each and every number combination that can be thrown with the two dice -

Unlike the Pocono casinos - and I ” assume ” like wise with SE PA -

As these combos are NOT on the layout -

They are NOT allowed -

The ” HOP any 7’s bet ” as I am assured - many if not most - would construe it to be a ” sucker ” bet -

Depends -

WHAT KIND OF A SHOOTER DO WE HAVE HERE , BOYS AND GIRLS ? -

Do we have a ” Gripper/Ripper - Flinger/Winger -

OR -

Do we have a deliberate care taking setter who throws gingerly/ softly to the same spot with the same set over and over and over again -

I have done the ” 5-Count ” on each and every shooter -

And, I must admit, in all honesty , I will not bet on the ” Winger-Flingers / Shake,Rattle and Rollers ” and others in their category -

Regardless of how many point numbers / passes that these morons make -

They are losers - in my book - in the long term -

In the short term -

They might have a lucky run or 2 or 3 or 4 -

But they have nothing -

To get back on topic -

In lieu of ” lay betting against ” certain anticipated / expected / hoped for results of the 7’s appearance on the come-out roll -

There is another cheaper approach -

A $3 ” Hop the 7’s ” on the come-out roll -

It’s a $1 wager on the 6/1 - 5/2 and 4/3 combos of the 7 on the come-out - or for that matter ANY roll of the dice -

The pay-off is 15 for 1 - if you hit -

Just want to put this out there as I just discovered this allowable bet in the past week or two -

This can also be played on the ” darkside ” !!!!!!!!!!!!

so I was speaking to a guy at the casino who swears by this “method” of playing. and i must admit he was winning when others were losing. Just wanting more feed back. if you have purchased this course has it worked for you?

Every now and then I will come across a table that pays triple for the 12 which makes the Field a more attractive bet. Anybody have a Field betting strategy for this kind of table?

Need some help setting up WinCraps autobet

Hello all! This is my first post, so bear with me.

I’m wanting to set up an autobet on WinCraps to see how a possible system I’m using works in many many games.

Here’s what I’m trying to do.

Place the 6 and 8 on the come out for $18 each.
Sit tight until the 6 or 8 hits, collect $21. (if lose, re-bet the and 8 for $18 each)
After 6/8 hits, place the 6/8 for $12 each (instead of the $18).
After 6/8 hits again (collect $7) place the 5 for $5.
After 6/8/5 hits again, place the Field for $5.

Keep all four bets going (taking winnings only) until 7 is rolled.

Can someone help me get this set up? I would REALLY appreciate it.

I’ve had some pretty good success in online games as well as in the live casino with it, but I haven’t been trying for more than about 30 separate goes at it.
