There were no presidents born in Chicago....and Barry Soetoro was from Kenya.
Hey looks like Chicago may take this one so far. If they do will they burn the city down??? How many murders will there be????
If this day starts the weekend as Friday will be just a big party day and it extends to monday I am sure a record will be made.
Cubs 5-1...bottom 5.
6-3 bottom of the 6th. call out the National Guard.
I wonder if I can see it burn from my house?
Well were in the 10th great game ready for the finish and in comes the rain LID AND BARNEY MUST OF SHOWED UP
Joe Maddon is such a fool.
Taking out Hendricks who was absolutely cruising.
Running Chapman into the ground.
Bunting Baez with 2 strikes, 1 out and man on 3rd.
If the Cubs win this...it will be in spite of Maddon's decision making.
I think win or lose Chicago is gonna blow up tonight.
their gonna earn it whoever wins
The fat lady is coming out of the dressing room
I hope so I need some sleep
Big win...to come into Cleveland and win both games?
Maddon's decisions were awful though.
Safer then Chicago. I wonder if i will see the fire from my house.
What a game what a series hope lid and barney get home ok
Voices 1....unbelievers 0

hope Chicago is still there by tonight.
I went and cashed it today.
Game 7: Chicago Cubs 8, at Cleveland Indians 7 (F10)
Well, unfortunately the clock struck midnight and the Chicago Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in 10 innings to win Game 7 and capture the 2016 World Series. Apparently God had heard enough whining from Cubs fans over the years and caused the rain delay following the end of the 9th inning. Cleveland reliever Brian Shaw had pitched the top of the 9th and the wait proved to be problematic once play resumed. Congratulations to the Cubs -- the preseason pick to win it all -- and their fans on the long-awaited World Series Championship.
The good news is if the Cubs can win, hopefully people of Illinois can eventually get rid of House Speaker Michael Madigan and his hand-picked lackeys who have made the state the biggest joke in politics.
My wife and I took a road trip last week to Columbus, Ohio for the Ohio State - Nebraska game. We stopped off in Cleveland the day before, as rumor had it Chris Antonetti (President, Cleveland Indians) was looking for a versatile LHP who could spot start and relieve. No parade for the AL Champs, at least not this year.
Unfortunately, Mr. Antonetti was quite busy getting ready for the 2017 season, executing club options on a number of personnel and contemplating qualifying offers for others.
So we had to find other things to do before departing for Columbus. Fortunately, just up the street from Jacobs, er, Progressive Field is Jack Casino, formerly Horseshoe Casino Cleveland. The casino opened in 2012 in the historic Higbee Building, which housed the former department store's location on Public Square in downtown. Terminal Tower -- the tallest building in North America outside of New York City until 1964 -- is on the right.
