Every time that 7 shows up, the crew has to take down and reset the ATS bets, which slows down the game. People will continue to bet it even after it has been taken down by a come out 7, so the initial ATS bets might as well stay up (e.g., not be taken down) until the roll ends.

What is wrong with someone wanting one of those numbers (2,3,11,12) to hit if they have made an ATS bet and that one number is what is needed for them to win? In addition, hitting any of those numbers wouldn't result in a PL loser. I'd rather see the ATS bet(s) hit when I'm on the PL because that means it's more likely a decent roll. You might be pressing your place bets to a nice level during the roll, but the player with $25/$25/$25 on the ATS probably could give a shi*t about your $300 Place 6 when all he needs is the 12 to hit for a $5K+ payout. Can't blame him in that situation, either.

Besides, how often has rooting for a number (other than the point) actually resulted in that number being rolled?

I finally hit the ATS last trip in Vegas. I usually bet $10 on each but for some reason decided on $5 each. I was the only one at the table and hit the all small first. Then only needed the 8 for the all tall and ALL. Layed the 8 for $600 and continued to shoot for the 8. 4 rolls later after continuing to hit my other bets, I dropped my lay on the 8 down to $200. 2 rolls later I hit the 8 and got paid $175x2=$350 and another $875 for the All. Minus my lay bet, plus my actual roll hits, I made about $1400 on the my throw. Took me 28 throws to hit the 10 numbers. If the last number is a box number, I always lay some amount to ensure I win something. Usually 1/3 of the total payout if I hit it. If I 7 out, I at least get something vice nothing. When chasing the ALL, I usually have already been paid for either the small or tall, so I use that money to LAY the ALL. So I estimated that on my own throws, on average I hit either the all small, all Tall or the ALL at least once in every 8 turns. That is not bad odds. If I bet $5 on each for every turn, that is $120 wager for a possible $175 pay day at a minimum. That's a $55 profit with the chance of winning more. That said, I usually lose betting the ATS on other players. Cause once you bet it.... it's hard to stop betting it, regardless of who is throwing. I try to throw on a table early morning when there are few players at the table. Was the highlight of my trip!

I usually play in AC, but took a trip out to Vegas last month and I noticed this at Caesars...In Vegas, when the ATS small hits, it starts over again and you could possibly win again and again if the shooter continues to make numbers. In AC, once the ATS small hits, it's done until the next shooter.

Should pay the same at any casino that offers this feature bet

    35 to 1 for the TALL = $175
    35 to 1 for the SMALL = $175
175 to 1 for the ALL TALL, ALL SMALL = $875

    Total if you don't hedge = $1225

Too bad this thread isn't on the fire bet. Then your post would make sense.

I know one place that if the small or tall hits you can rebet it. Where I play once a bet hits it gets paid right then on the ATS.

The ATS is three separate bets we talked with Galaxy Gaming about what some of the casion were doing by not paying each bet when they hit and then not allowing the bet to be brought back up.

They got the casinos here to use the bet the way it was designed to be played!

You could call Galaxy gaming if you really like playing that bet and telling them what casinos are doing it the wrong way.

Your post makes not a bit of sense for the ATS bet. Zilch None. You are confused. Really has nothing to do with a savvy skilled shooter. Maybe I'll ask TDV since he is the only savvy skilled shooter that shows proof of his skill, unlike all others here just running their mouths.

The only way a ATS bet can be made is after a 7 has rolled and only on a come out roll.

So explain how you original post on this thread has anything to do with the ATS small bet? That is all you do is run your mouth about having skill and winning but yet there is nothing to show for it besides your word, which not many believe. The ones that do seem to do so since it is convenient to do so in order to whine about TDV.

OK I see what you are saying , you want a statement relative to the ATS bet
here goes ,,, According to most publications on the subject of craps , the ATS bet is considered to be and is a high
HA bet and as such they recommend avoiding it , they rank it as one of the sucker bets
and they say , " IT SHOULD BE SHUNNED AT ALL COST, THEY SAY IT LIKE THE COME BET , SUCKS
    happy now ?

    a post script for clarity

I play the ATS when it is available , I also play the fire bet
I hit both often enough that I would be foolish not to
however for the chunker / random player it is not advisable

You are a useless person and nothing but a liar. All you do is try and get on people's nerves and annoy them. There isn't one of your buddies on here that will get on this thread and honestly say your original post made any sense to what this thread was talking about.
