    It's like Big foot...
    or the abominable snowman...
the aliens at Area 51---I've been there. Other than the "Alie-Inn", I've seen nothing.
    The creature under the bridge

    Great stories---no evidence.

I try to avoid both liking and replying to the same posts but am making an exception in these cases.
In support of this evaluation I refer to the pxbots.com thread on Roulette Forum. The thread, which has over 8500 posts, was started in October, 2011, and ran for over two years before the product the thread's initiator, tomuen, was pitching was exposed as a scam. (It still gets a post now and then from some sucker looking for more information!) Even then Jacob permitted tomuen to continue to post until he resurrected the product as "new and improved" and, like mogwai in the Gremlins movies, the scenario began anew. In a manner reminiscent of the Whac-A-Mole arcade game tomuen continued to pop up using different handles, but was beaten into eventual submission...um, at least for now.
The first post I made after becoming internet-enabled (circa 1995) was to the Usenet newsgroup rec.games.board. My greatest fear was not that I would be flamed; rather it was that I would be ignored. IMHO that is the ultimate insult.

Frank there are always going to be those that one board will not let post what they believe, some boards have deep ties with gaming. If what the poster is saying is going against gaming they have a problem with that poster. These DI craps boards will run off anybody that does not go along with what they are writing and selling. The same thing goes with your beloved DI concept of throwing the dice. These on-axis schools are saying the same thing you are,.. that there are players that are winning millions playing craps. The only way that is going to happen is that the player is buying in for millions!

You and others have wrote that shooters could win millions off the casinos. I must say that you were pretty damn good at what you were writing, you and a few others convinced the casinos and the craps playing community that it could be done, bravo for you!

That in turn made the casinos take counter measures, that they didn't need to do, they made their tables so bouncy that the so-called random rollers couldn't even keep the dice on the tables, therefore costing the casinos money. Most craps players know that the casinos make their money off of the rolls per hour they get. With the dice always being thrown off the tables ,.. the casinos were losing money when they didn't take that into consideration.

You and many others had and easy sell, everybody is always looking for the magic bullet. No one was looking at slow motion videos of what the dice really did when they hit the tables. Now we know that there is no way dice can stay on axis, they bounce all over the place when they hit the tables.

Everybody needs a gimmick to sell something, we have cars that get 28 miles per gal. but when you buy them you find out that you only are getting 18 miles per gal.

We see advertisements all the time that just don't hold water when put to the test, it's the American way of doing business. Now that some of these claims to fame are being put to the test, we see them falling by the way side,... if your a reasonable person and don't need a hero to justify you playing craps you should be able to see right through some of what posters are writing and all of the fiction in the DI books and boards run by the on-axis DI boards.

What I see all the time is when these guys that are selling things get caught with their pants down they start calling the ones that are questioning them names. I'm probably one of the most hated posters on these on-axis DI boards, because of all of the slow-motion videos that I've posted, that show that the dice are not staying on axis!

Claims to fame that writers or posters put out have the right to be questioned. Frank's Captain claim is just one of many that has never been proven. The funny thing about it is that the world record holder for the longest roll is just a damn random roller. Boy that shoots the whole DI thing right down the drain.

To show you how silly people can be, you got to read this one:
Government blames naked tourists for a deadly earthquake, and arrests them
    http://qz.com/423603/malaysia-blames-naked-tourists-for-a-deadly-earthquake-and-arrests-them/

Yes, you can believe anything you want to about becoming a so-called DI. There are plenty of people that are willing to take your money. But just because you believe something different then me I still will not call you names, like a lot of posters do, only because they don't have a leg to stand on - all they have is a bunch of fiction. So if you throw something out there that doesn't sound right, be prepared to keep trying to answer the same old questions over and over again!

its obvious from that article the gods were ticked off because of the nerve of all those men flashing their junk, most likely none of them measured up to what the gods originally thought was adequate when he created man.

Well if you were wondering who the couple of posters that are totally negative to EVERYTHING wonder no more. Who else but the imortal TD and Linman. These pillars of the gambling community claim they have a right to question. Fine no problem. But when they are negative to every theory and betting strategy not to mention DI it gets a little old. Yes some former posters have left because of their negativity. All they ever do is get lost in the " long run" and bow at the altar of HA.
They can attack me but they will get it back - something those former posters neglected to do.lol

Dave..hit the ignore key. Problem solved for you.

Negative to every theory on gambling as it pertains to beating the house?
Sure. Guilty as charged. Where's the problem there?

    Negative to every betting strategy?
Nonsense. Some are better than others but all of them carry a negative expectation. What do you want to hear? Me endorse a strategy that can beat the house? I've played don't, I've played 6-8. I'll push on a winning hit. It's still isn't going to put me on easy street.

Why on earth would any member leave the board when they can simply erase me from the forum by using the ignore feature?

Dice control outcome specialist as you claim to be falls under seeing is believing. I've yet to see it done. I've never seen a video of it. I don't see the casinos stopping Dice controllers. I don't believe it's possible with any certainty or frequency. Can't help you anymore on that topic.

I am flattered you consider me a pillar of the gambling community, not to mention immortal(my body is coming apart faster than a cheap leisure suit).

and just for the record, dave, Im not attacking you, not at all, you might be a great person, Im questioning/attacking the contents of your claims and posts insisting something Ive never witnessed in 30 years or playing craps exists.
    there is a huge difference.

Dave I think that I wrote this before, but in case I didn't you need guys like TD and Linman or we would get no where. If you think that your a so-called DI or even a casual craps player, these guys make you try to prove to yourself that you can do something more then anybody else.

It's better then having a fiction writer pat you on the back when you say that you had a bad day at the craps tables. They are saying there are no DI's, I say that you really need a lot of luck to be on your side when you are shooting to get on a roll. Most so-called DI's never give themselves a chance when they are playing craps. They are to interested in putting on a show for the rest of the table.

So they will play on full tables with all of their buddies. Or just hit any table they walk up to, it doesn't matter to them as long as they have players to watch their great skill set that they think they have. That is why most players will say they never saw a so-called DI, they just blend in with the rest of the players on the tables they play on. Sometimes they do get lucky and win, but the same thing goes for all of the other players around the table.

Maybe some of that advice that your hero is giving out by example is wearing off on all of his readers,...Yes I'm writing about the great Madprofessor who goes to the tables after every concert he can find a music video on, that he ripped off the internet to show all of his followers.

Everybody on these boards have something to say you may not like it but that is what keep these boards going. The great fiction writers on these boards have called me everything under the sun, but they are falling by the wayside, the truth hurts them. Posters like TD and Linman have good view points that you may not agree with , but they have the right to post what they believe, just like you do so I wouldn't take it so personally if I was you!

You at one time could probably met Linman, doesn't he live in your neck of the woods, where as you don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of meeting your hero the Madprofessor. That because he is just a fiction writer that happens to be a damn good one, but he can't do what he claims to do, that is why nobody has ever met him.

Dave use some common sense the Madprofessor has never posted one photo that he took himself and the same thing goes for videos. Everybody has a cell phone now days he was always bragging about his crack-berry cell phone but never posted one photo from it.

Dave I would love to tell you that the great Madprofessor was the greatest DI there ever was, but sorry I can't do that because I've busted him in so many of the things that he writes. Look at all of the slow-motion videos that I put up. Some of them are posters that are so-called DI's that you read their post all of the time. Their dice are just bouncing all over the place when they hit the tables, they do not stay on axis like the guys that are selling you on-axis dice shooting. These are guys that you look up to, just by posting back to them and telling them what a good job they are doing!

Yes,.. we need guys like TD and Linman, that ask question and do not believe in the same things we do, if we didn't have them all of the boards would be dead. There would be only one point of view and these boards would go no where!

Here is a good option for you, Pm Linman set up a meeting and show him what you say you can do, then maybe he will become your new best friend, you can be his pied-piper of the craps tables!

a slight correction,I didn't say there aren't DI shooters that can win, Ive posted Ive never seen or witnessed any in 30 plus years playing, and no one has ever proven to me it can be done, so that leads to disbelief, but Ive stated there might be one in a million that can do it.
Like powerball, one in a 180 million chance to win, but someone wins all the time.

I don't get to conneticut often, but Id be more than happy to witness dave have consistently good rolls, and Id be the first person to salute his talent if it happens.
On any board he wants me to.

    Linman & TD
I was calling you on the times you were negative towards players before I even came on this board. I would look what was happening and there would be TD ridiculing someone. Maybe it is the way he does it lol. Linman would question something in a more civilized response.
As to DI I expect people to question it.Too bad TD never saw a DI having a hand. Guess they are as hard to find as hen' s teeth.

dave, if a DI rolls 25 rolls twice in a row, and makes a lot less profit then me, if we are betting same denominations, while he may be only playing the 5 and 9 because that's what he expects to hit, and he hits nothing but 4s, and my come bets clean up and he makes close to nothing, that doesn't mean much. I get the less sevens di shooting, but if one never makes profit, just like a random roller, cant prove its the work of DI tossing, just because he puts 2 3s on top and has a pretty stance and toss.

Really, who cares whether I believe in DI or not? If you think you can do it, you shouldn't give 2 bits what I think. Go do. That's the ultimate "revenge".---swim in your cash piles.

Me thinks someone protest too much---which brings up more questions than answers.

Haven't seen it and really don't believe it. By now I figured I would have seen video of it happening. If there are people out there that can skew the numbers on demand---I really wouldn't worry about what I think.

My opinion is what it is. The casinos haven't instituted rules for DI. They are still in business and I don't think I've ever seen a rich gambler---unless his richness was derived from something else.

My ultimate reason why I think no one is capable of DI is that they would have employed a Kelly type progression---if they were comfortable and confident of their skill. That is the only caveat I hold over a DI player other than the usual "I can"---"no you can't" back and forth.

A Kelly progression would be the only logical step for a true, capable DI player. The Kelly was never mentioned on any DI thread until Autopilot brought it up when I suggested why aren't DI's increasing their bets over years of play.

Everybody has their own way of betting, what really matters the most is that you walk away with a profit, it doesn't matter how you got it!

Logically the only way to beat an honest-dice -EV game is to execute positive influence on the dice ("positive" meaning congruent with your actual BETS)...i dont believe such has been or ever will be manifested but i COMPLETELY understand the impulse to not surrender to the idea that you cannot beat the game...it is, in my opinion, a futile impulse but a very, very human one and to which i am most empathetic...

...as i have stated many times i am open to convincing...unlike TDV and others a series of slow motion videos would not convince me...the only thing that would convince me is real casino action...such proof is not all that overly impractical either and considering the DI debate is many decades old, i wonder why such demonstration has not been tried...just yesterday i posted specifications regarding mathematical evidence that in fact would convince me here:

Is there truly any way it can be demonstrated in a practical way? I suggest video evidence because that seems to be the easiest. A DI is likely going to say that the advantage is so minute, so imperceptible, so slight---that the naked eye isn't going to see it happening. Unless, of course he is calling out numbers on demand or says he will roll the dice on average 12 times before you see a 7---or some other combination. I'm not going to watch 5,000 rolls and I don't know if anyone else is going to. I don't know of any professional craps players unless it's exploits written about by fiction writers like FrankS. I mean, I can see Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson on TV and see their career winnings and bracelets and form some opinion about their poker prowess. How can I form an opinion about HeavyD and his skill?

I'd actually love to see some kind of craps shootout with the best DI's and the worst chuckers on this forum...my money is on the chuckers.

Well, I returned from a losing trip Several days ago at my local Joint(That's 2 Consecutive Losing trips) & I had the pleasure of playing on a Table with one other Player(Random Roller). Well, this Random Roller Out-Rolled me in EVERY way. I actually made three times more Betting on his hands than I did on my Own. I couldn't get over 6 rolls of the dice, while this Gentleman went on to toss MANY hands Exceeding 12 Rolls. my shooting was so bad that he actually started playing the Don'ts on me. All I heard from him was: If you just pick up the damned dice & throw them, you might just catch a Good Hand. LOL.
