What on earth?....he taught combat tactics because he believed combat tactics could be taught. That has NOTHING to do with his opinions on whether war was justified or not or whether he was a pacifist.

We are talking about a person who doesn't believe combat tactics (DI) can be taught or even exist...but will teach them anyway.

Your double talk is a wonder that never ceases to amaze.

So far we have 5 on board...it's not just the "little man" asking;)

Rick, do you believe in DI?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

Dice control, in the "PLATONIC" sense, "LINEAR" version.
i am not opposed to dice control, or in favor of it.

Yep....all we've gotta do is make sure that the "chopper" is fully fueled so that we don't crash & burn. Stay away from the cliffs whilst navigating & we'll do just fine flying the chopper!

It's definitely a feast or famine, " must toss it perfectly" type of deal, but......striving for perfection IS THE ROUTE TO TAKE!

As for my results....thus far? It's coming along S-L-O'W-L-Y, but surely!!

If ya crash it, one good table session and you can pick up a huge down payment or possibly a full pay off on a new one.

You can get a decent Airbus Helicopter for around $2,655, 620. So if you go get the money in Laughlin where AssHall plays and bet table max, you only need about One-thousand-five-hundred rolls without a seven to get enough money to cover the cost of a new one with taxes.
But a word of caution here; Don’t try for enough cash for each to get a new chopper. casinos watch the tables and may black list ya for pushing the win beyond the cost of one new chopper.

Believe in DI? Maybe, maybe not, but he definitely does NOT believe in DeMango, and TDV doesn't "like" it.

The original idea posted by this thread, as superrick had asked it, was:
"So, I'm giving it over to you guys to hear some of your stories on big win's that you had or saw. We all have a different definition of a big win for some of you your big win might have been only $100 but let's hear about it if that was your biggest win you ever had or saw !"
I was really looking forward to some good stories-----reading about people winning big----or watching others win big.
In no time at all this post became everything BUT a post on someone's big win. I would have to reread all 10 pages to be sure, but I don't think there were any posts related to the question asked.
Why can't we just have a question asked and people respond without going nuts?
Why can't we stick to the topic and not have the usual rants about other people?

    So......anyone have a "big win" story because I don't.

Other than the very first time I rolled the dice in August 2014. I had a terrific run {although I didn't know it at the time) and walked away with $300 win. I hit several hard ways however I wasn't betting them as I didn't understand betting on them---but I tripled my buy in. I was floating on the clouds----until I saw the guy next to me cash out with about $3500. That was when I decided I needed to learn this game

We're gettin to the topic Man, but first we have to work out a few subtleties. It's all about protocol, first things first. Nice win man. OK where did "Pee" go? :)

The original statement was he should never offer to teach
My question was why should he not teach if he wants to and knows the subject material?
and as kong as he , "CHARGES a FARE PRICE"

Regarding the OP. To me post #1 and post #3 seem a bit conflicting and remind me of the bait switch trap the Short Bussers set up for grizoola.

Do, you want me to post more videos, well here is one for you!
I spent a little over an hour with Dicesetter today and we both won money at a full table something that I hate to do!

    SR

Had some fun today and made a few bucks...sorry it was
a short session but I promised the wife some sightseeing
    instead of playing..

Just a note here for the guys that really do want to get better
as a player.....When your in town give Rick a shout, he understands
the game and wins and he can help you do better at the
    at the table.

There is a lot of BS on this site... but for the newer guys
you can learn to give yourself a better chance at the table, and
one of the better ways is keeping track of what happens at
the table and your play. Lots of stuff that happens is luck
and will be always be luck..but some is not, you need to find
out what the not luck stuff is for you....
For me it is playing at tables I can play at and table position, Rick
is the best I have ever seen at adjusting his shot to the table
and table position he is at..... I am not so good at that. In the last
5 day trip to Laughlin, I did not have a losing session from table
end position, I did not have a winning session from SL1 and
    I played at 5 different casino's

Luck is important, but not as important as using your head.
