What i have learned over time is that the democratic party is wrong about everything and with
the nearly 100% support of the press they can govern effectively, over time getting everything
    they want.
The republican party by contrast is totally ineffective and fought by the press nearly 100%
of time hardly ever get anything they want.

so what is the effect of that.....look around you....there is no national certainty on anything,
and we bounce around between the political realities of time, but like cancer, all the time getting
    worse.

The republican party believes as i do, that if government allows me to be free and i can do the
best i can for myself and my family, it will turn out to be the best contribution i can make for
society. The democrats believe that government should control all actions to make sure
    all results are equal.

In that regard the republicans are correct the farmer works harder to grow as much wheat
as he can so he can sell it and support his family....the farmer controlled by government
is to grow 1000 tons because that is all he gets paid for and so when that is done he quits.

The problem is our government is controlled by democrats and over time we will prove again right here
that socialism wont work because with everyone in the wagon, there is no one left to pull it.

Maybe....Election Day will be a reckoning. Either he’s right....and wins or if he loses, there will be an ENORMOUS amount of second guessing in how he handled his 4 years in terms of unifying.

    I make no predictions.

that is for sure.......the day after this election will be a day we will remember.

But one thing is clear right now...if Trump loses it will because of who he is and if trump
wins it will because of who he is........

thats a lot riding on one mans character.....

It will hinge on 6-7 states that are in play. Polls are already tightening in battleground states.

Don Lemon is probably right....Biden needs to address chaos, rioting, looting and general lawlessness in big cities. Not sure why there has been no response beyond one liners.

Normal people don’t tolerate unlawful behavior running rampant. Both should be addressing how to stop it....Portland, Chicago, Kenosha, etc.

Now...3 killings in 48 hours between both sides. It will get worse before it gets better, IMO.

I’m not disagreeing with you. He might. Might not. This will be another strange election, IMO. Polls out the door.

I really have no clue. Both sides are maintaining “their guy” is a lock.

biden already has over 200 electrol votes locked up....Trump has an uphill battle with virtually no margin for error.........he will probably pick up 1 or 2 states not have in 16....might lose 1 or 2.......everyone says it will be tight but I predict he will win more electrol votes than he did in 2016.....out on a limb but I hve great confidence in America and it's people doing what is best for the country.

I thought the last election has to have been divine intervention because no way Trump
should have won.......but then i thought if there was a god no way in the world would he
    support a guy like Trump...

I am more convinced than ever that god would not support Trump..but then again maybe
a god would be pragmatic and think why let them elect Biden and help them destroy
    the country so quick.

One thing is certain, freedom works two ways....we are free to enjoy this country and others are
free to destroy it....it is hard to have one without the other.

They're 2 peas in the same pod as far as I'm concerned.

If someone had told you on Jan 1st 2020 that there would be 3 trillion plus of deficit spending and the Republicans would joyfully go along with it, you would have told them they were batshit crazy.

The is no way Trump should have won in 2016.........everything and everybody was against him.....he just was smart enough and just flat worked his ass off...he worked and worked and worked......he just will not be denied........you can bet he had devine intervention....there really is no other explanation.....it seems the country, in its darkest moments elects the right man for the job....like winston churchill...roosevelt.....lincoln........we rise to the occassion-.....

I'm hoping he gets the breaks he needs to put him over the top..........no hanging chads please.

Just look at the last four years of the Bush administration, he approved every single spending
bill the dems wanted...that put an end to the idea that republicans care about budgets....

The truth is dems want socialism and they to a man and women beleive.......the republicans
have no idea what they beleive in....every part of the country is different, and there are even a
few senators that think character in a leader matters...To make matters worse all republicans
have been telling us for years the proposals of dems would make America worse....and yet today
we have hundreds of reps that want you to vote against Trump, allow the dems to control the country
It appears they really did not beleive in what they were telling us....

I agree, the final outcome will be the same no matter who rules.

5 states are in play. The rest you can just throw away as a forgone conclusion. Maybe, maybe Minnesota and NH are in play (NH has 4 votes)....so I cast it off as meaningless for now. doubtful on Minnesota, IMO.

    Michigan (16 votes)
    Wisconsin (10 votes)
    Pennsylvania (20 votes)
    Florida (29 votes)
    N. Carolina (15 votes)

    This is your election.

    227 are locked for Biden

if he swings Florida and PA....he wins.

if he swings MI, WI, PA....he wins

There are other combinations, but this election is on 5 states.

Trump won MI by 10,704 votes
Trump won WI by 22,748 votes
Trump won FL by 112,911 votes
Trump won PA by 44,292 votes
Trump won NC by 173,315 votes

365,000 votes out of 129,000,000 was the difference between electing Trump, not Clinton. About 1/4 of 1% of all votes cast.

    Minuscule.

More riots, looting, vandalism will likely benefit Trump as a law and order guy. Biden is doing himself no favors, IMO, staying quiet as Kenosha, Portland, Seattle and Chicago burn. The reluctance to condemn the disorder is head scratching, IMO. I don’t know many midwesterners....but my guess is the supermajority fall on the side that they are disgusted by looting, vandalism, riots. Mi, Wi and PA could fall again to Trump.

    we will know soon enough.

But what we already know is this, the government has grown larger and less effective
and more in debt with every president we have no matter what party.

Carter put us 299 billion in debt
Reagan put us 1.86 trillion in debt
Bush 1 1.55 Trillion in debt
    Clinton 1.4 trillion in debt
Bush 2 5.85 trillion in debt
    Obama 8.59 trillion in debt
and Trump in 4 years $4 .78 trillion in debt.

The average interest rate on the national debt over time was 5.8% Why do you think
the government wants interest rates at zero.......it is simple if the people had to pay
the average interest on what they borrow there would be no growth, because the cost
of government takes to much out of our system....Socialism and big government have
the same affect in the long run.

The debt isn’t sustainable. 3 big wars started the trend of putting us in huge debt...Civil War, WW1, WW2.

2001 was the last time we had a budget surplus. Again, wars did us no good on the financial front in the 2001-2008 years. Since then the budget deficit has climbed and climbed and now the debt is skyrocketing.

There may be a reckoning coming down the line. Not sure what will happen.

If it was me....I’d say whatever comes in, goes out. Maybe save a few pennies for a rainy day. Not a penny more. That ship has seemingly sailed long ago.

we didn't "elect" Winston Churchill. We did smoke a lot of his cigarettes though.
You think what you do, because the alternative is unthinkable. But not impossible.
