Ok, maybe I am wrong, so I thought I'd ask here.

I wagered $10, on the Hard 6, and 4 and 2 came out. I THOUGHT I lost, but all the bets remained there, they were not taken away. This happened multiple times. I ended up winning $280 total, but I'm thinking that the Casino messed up, and I should have lost, not once, but more than once. Am I wrong? Or, do different casinos have different rules pertaining to this? Casino was Mohegan sun in CT. Thanks to whoever can tell me.

You caught lightning in a bottle! The Casino's mistakes were your good fortune! Not your fault that they made SEVERAL errors! Unethical on YOUR part? Only YOU can answer that question!

The hard way bets are not one roll bets, they remain up until a decision is arrived at. They are only lost when the number is rolled easy, or a seven rolls. They are won when the number rolls hard, all other rolls are null, no decision.

Isn't he saying that a 4/2 soft six came out? Or is he saying that the number four hit, then the number two?

To be clear, the easy ways were rolled before the hard way came out (4,2 and 5 and 1) but yet the bets still stayed out there which confused me. I guess it's confirmed now, that they made a mistake. But more than once? Seems strange to me.

I wonder what the house edge on the hard 6 becomes if it doesn't lose on a soft 6?

it would appear that he said the easy 6 came out showing 4 and 2 , in such case he would lose
you would be correct in that case , he would lose the hard 6

In my book I have the following examples:

What are the true odds of rolling a 6 before I roll a 7.

    There are 6 ways to roll a 7.....there are 5 ways to roll a 6...hence, the true odds are 6 to 5 I will roll a 6 before I roll a 7.

    There are 6 ways to roll a 7....there are 3 ways to roll a 10....hence, the true odds are 6 to 3 ( 2 to 1 ) I will roll a 10 before I roll a 7.

If the aforementioned is true, then it follows:

    There are 6 ways to roll a 7......there is 1 way to roll a hard 6...hence, the true odds are 6 to 1 I will roll a hard 6 before I roll a 7.

The same calculation applies to all 11 numbers but your primary concern are with point numbers 4,5,6,8,9,10 .

its simple, the dealer made an error.
either take the money and forget about it, or tell the dealer, no, I lost that bet when the soft 6 came out, you forgot to take it.
believe me, if you say that in front of the pit boss the dealer will no longer be your buddy, so its probably best if no one else noticed it, as its their job, you should also forget about it and just take the payout if it hits and if it makes you feel better, tip the dealer 10 bucks.
with all the people watching the game, one of them should pick up on the forgotten bet.
    consider it a casino promotion

You sure these were not come out rolls where the hardways are considered off unless called on? If that's the case your bet would remain up during the rest of the roll.

Here in Michigan I've seen it both ways, depends on the casino. I was in New Buffalo last week and am almost positive they needed to be called on during the come out.

I don't know about Michigan I have never been there but in Vegas
before every come out roll the stick will announce
"YOUR HARD WAYS ARE WORKING UNLESS YOU CALL THEM OFF"
I generally play the hard 6 and hard 8 when I have the dice so I am very familiar with them in Vegas
I personally have my hard ways always working
