    Hi There fellow Di'ers,

I got back from CES (Consumer electronics Show) last week. I saw the Uber Flying Taxi, the Mercedes self driving emotional IQ driving car, as well as a massage chair that was better than Mrs. Lu-Lu's Thai Massage.

I also played craps at MGM, the Palms and the Venetian. I had posted in late December that I planned on playing a DI 44-22 set with a high arc with an accommodating soft kiss off the back wall always ensuring a even number.

    Here are my results:

    1. Day 1 - MGM - played 4 sessions; each about an hour: #1 - loss of $600 - point-7-point-7-point-7; I am sure you got the point; I know I did. #2 Loss of $200; more of the point-7 nonsense. #3- I finally got the dice and won back about $400 with a 26 dice roll; a mini duke. My big disappointment being that they wouldn't let me bet the small, tall, and all with a 2-1-2 bet. It had to be a minimum of 5-5-5. WTF? #4 - I switched to the Palms as that was near the place I was staying at. I walked out $500 down - net loss of - $900. Not a good start at all. I rolled well, but the random rollers killed me.

    2. Day 2 - I woke up; had to go to work; met a bunch of biz people and finished up about 7pm and I had ended up at the Venetian. This place had the Sands Expo and it was full of tourists; the Craps tables were hopping and I jumped into a $15 table. I decided to be more aggressive; stay away from the hard bets and the Yo's and just load up on the odds. So $15 on the 8 on the pass line; 50 odds; and then place $15 on the 5/9 and $30 on the 6. 15 coming. Hit an inside number and take $40-50 odds; hit a 4/10 and go $30 on the odds. The table was warm; the hits kept playing and after about 2 hours, I was up about $600. Told my boss I was even for the trip (although really down $300). Crashed at 1 am; reminded myself that I had an 8 am uber.

    3. Day 3 - Made the Uber, worked all day, ended up at the Venetian; and at the TAO night club; a ritzy party with lots of drunk people and women of questionable morals. It was kinda fun. I was telling two of my colleagues about craps and how it's the best game in Vegas; so they told me to show them how to play. "put my money where my mouth was". I played the same way as Day 2; won $600 and stopped. Now I was actually up $300 for the trip and my boss asked to borrow $300 from me. He was losing his shirt playing Caribbean Poker (omg that game sucks)

    4. Day 4 - ok so had to work and check out and then was requested to see some new analogue processors for small voltage IOT AI. I saw it all; believed half of it and when I looked up, It was noon and I had 2 hours before I had to head for the airport. I was there at a $15 table and Curtis was throwing and Curtis was very very drunk. Curtis was from Ontario Canada and I asked him how he likes it in Las Vegas. Curtis responds that it is -18 F in Ontario. He said 60f in Vegas suits him fine. I was explaining the game to yet another colleague and Curtis tells me, in a drunken stupor, to "man up" and get in the game because he is shooting. Mind you, I am up about $300 bucks and I don't like to give back winnings. But I note; Curtis is setting the dice with a 44-22 and he is as loose as a goose. He's isn't tense, long deep high throws; (gorgeous) did I say he is very drunk? He throws with no fear and Curtis was in the "zone" and rolls for about 40 minutes and I win $900.

Epilogue - I win close to $1,200 for the 4 days and 3 nights there. I don't win even 1 small, tall, all. But I put an extra $10 to 15 on my normal odds bet and mostly stayed off the yo's and hard ways and I have to tell you; the 5 with a $15 pass line and $40 odds pays $75 tyvm. House edge of <.5%. $10 dollars on a hard four to win $70 - House edge -11.1%

Do the math and let the game reward you.

Did you take notice from that entry sent in from Los Alamos? Some kind of infrared target detector with a digital readout on landing angle & dual impact energy stats.
Price not disclosed. Country of origin- not of this Earth!

Some non di’s are enthralled by his theories. Nothing wrong with that. But the di’s that want to succeed will find no useful theories that doesn’t speak to keeping the dice together in flight and THEN measuring results. There are more computer programs out there besides BoneTracker, but I’ve hitched my horse there.

I have been in contact with DM (Dice Mechanic) who was active on MP' s board. Anyway he sent me a vid of his Ice Tong toss which he tossed into a pillow on his bed.His table is not assembled. Anyways the dice were perfectly glued and landed 5-5 on his pillow. He told me to step up my game! I told him " quit sending me these perfect tosses!" LOL

    This is Barney

In casino DI exhibitions, the LID uses spit on seam to keep dices together in flight. At home he finds super glue works more better than wood glue.

    Mr. Duck,

I have seen random rollers copy me and set the dice, throw it, and then bounce them 4-5 times to the back wall. Now that is a random roll... It looks like they think dice setting is superstitious. They take their sweet time doing it too; so, to me, they look like idiots. I will bet mins when they are shooting.

A good DI'er sets and tosses as high an arc that the casino will allow and gently kisses the pair off the back wall.

Now Mr. Duck, I know you are a smart dude and you appear to be baiting me a bit. What's up with that? I am a DI'er, been practicing for 40 years. Keep track of my winnings and losses, and no, I am not selling anything to anyone.

I believe that there are some shooters, like me, who understand it, practice it, and hey, I only need to have a positive influence on one roll out of 36 attempts and that is good enough for long term profit. It also assumes that you play a come system taking max odds on every point.

Anyways, craps is fun for me....if I had to bank $100/day to make rent, that would be less fun.

    warm regards,

    Dave,

I just found and commented some surprise in a thread, where, after speaking with the wizard just one time, you stated on this board that his revelations about dice is accurate. This is listed below in red.

This did not sound like comments from a guy who spoke of this material as being alien.

Your changed opinion does not seem to have lasted, and that is fine. You now seem to be back on board with the Professor and Dom.

What changed your mind to accept the Wizard, and what happened a few days later that you are back to ridiculing him?

Koko is right. That 44℅ on axis is wrong. Why? You just look at the top 2 faces not the 2 faces looking at you.Linaway explained it.Yes you may have started with the 2- V but one die may have turned clockwise or counterclockwise and now you are in a different set like say the Hardway with different 7- out parameters. So it may look like a hard 4 but may not be.Finally on board!
