I like the chip idea. I have a den and also collected chips years ago; back when casinos accepted chips from other casinos. Life was so much easier when I could avoid cashing out at one casino and play them elsewhere without the next casino knowing my buy amount. But eventully the collection got too large, nobody else ever cared and after awhile I didn't care either. I had several that became worthless after the issuing casinos upgraded to newer chips or went out of business. Now that was more pricy than the effort was worth collecting them; 100% profit for the casino.

Nice looking mounts. Are they from the big lake or inland?

Been there, done that, did that. Pretty much every LV casino would need to shutter before I would venture back into that grind joint except maybe for a potty stop before riding the zip line.

If you want to catch a walleye over 30" for most guys like us that wont
pay guides in Canada it has to be in the spring when the big ones just
got done spawning. There are a number of places in Canada anyone
could get one. But later in the year, you dont see them anymore.

On the Bay of Green Bay it is also easy in the spring, but they are
there all summer if you go further north.

For a northern over 40" there are many places in Canada, but not always
easy. Last year my buddy and a friend packed into a lake and got 18
over 40" in one week... ( that I missed and was sick for a week)

There are some very big northerns in the Bay, last summer we had a 47" and
ands Sue got a 45" . The trouble with the big northerns when your
trolling for Walleye is the weight of the board and fish just break the gear.

Just like getting a 60 roll in craps, shit just has to happen right.

I spent a lot of summer vacation time at a cabin on Scotch Lake in Canada. I enjoyed the scenery, wild life, and the fishing. Never cared much for the Northerns. Those boney big ones were just a distraction from catching the better eaters; yellow pickerel.

I caught and mounted several walleye from there each one bigger in length and weight than the previous catch. Just like cashing long rolls; put in the time it just has to happen. I stopped going when game wardens started coming around to count fillets in the cabin; about the same time they cut down the number of fish allowed to leave the country. So I put in my time cashing in at other places.

They dont allow you to keep much anymore. Two years ago one
of our boats was keeping a couple for supper and had their take
home in the freezer... warden came right back to look and cost them
$1500... then right next to you, the natives net 500 and take them
    home.

Just like craps, you have a decent looking shot, better look out, your
drunk and throw the dice off the table, no one gives a crap.

The moral of the story is I take every single dime I can from a casino...…
    …………………….so I can buy fish!!!

Went into the 4Queens once, a long time ago. The Pit crew looked like the locals in the movie Deliverance. I got the hell out of there. :)
