When making a title on ANY Craps Discussions, title it in a way that it will generate interest. Not only on this site, but Craps Players who are searching the web will FIND the discussion and be drawn to our 'favorite' Craps Shark Tank.

The more diverse the group in these discussions the better for everyone. I might learn something interesting every day...

"Wong on Dice" is on the second page of a Google Search. More objective and subjective conversations will get outside interest and participation. This short and to the point. Those searching the topic will be following down the first few search pages.

    Keep the title-
    Simple
    Descriptive
    Interesting

This must have been my source of finding the CrapsForum... a Google Search on craps.

This site should have hundreds of daily visitors under Users Online Now.

To be perfectly honest and frank -

To ALL who are looking to elevate their craps game - regardless of their beliefs - or non-beliefs -

THIS PLACE is definitely NOT the place that YOU WANT to be to do that -

YOU can NOT get THERE from HERE !

The road is washed out, the bridge is down and the detour signs lead you in one big never ending circle !

Alas, it is SAD - but - TRUE !

THIS place will NOT teach you anything other than how to be cynical and vindictive - and will NOT benefit your Craps Game one iota !

    That's not true snake.

You have picked up knowledge on the game here.

There is bickering here, just like in all 'families'....people is people...and everybody is messed up some, due to unknown hidden things in their little brains. It's just the way it is. Cut everybody some slack , if it is in you....I know....I know....

There are knowledgeable people here that have come up with good stuff from many different angles....

    IMO ( I'm not humble)

At least those commenting spell Craps with the 's'.

Most of the bickering is not from questions, but the answers given because of questions.

If someone is selling a Gold Mine in Nevada... the first question probably will concern... if there is any gold left in this mine. Otherwise, why is it for sale?

If someone is promoting or discussing Dice Influencing... it is difficult, really impossible, to describe in detail when it is a SEE and DO activity. This is where the friction originates.

A System can be explained in detail and tested. All suck, as they are all dependent on the Seven not cleaning the table's chips off the table. That is why after Each and Every delivery of the dice... you are paid ODDS. Each toss is taking on this risk. This is easy to understand.

    Biased Dice.
    Dice Influencing.
    Dice Control.
Dice handling on any sort or combination of techniques cannot be learned by reading.

If someone has a great roll, I do not question if they were manipulating the dice, or not. I can see what is being done by pure observation.

You also must have a clear understanding that all wins are a factor of the difficulty of dice combination versus the seven on each pair of dice outcome. If you forget this basic fact and gloss over it with distractions... others will not believe it possible.

I have never been invited, nor when asked to be invited to a DI Class, been... invited to watch as a critical observer. This immediately brings me back to a Gold Mine looking for investors. If it has gold... why do you need investors?

If you have perfected a way to manipulate dice outcomes... why do you need to teach others? This is not an Art Class for aspiring artists. You either have the inherent talent... or never will. It is an individual by individual decision. You know you can draw before taking the Classes. This is not the case with DI and its disciples of dice manipulation.

Gamblers like to find a short cut to wealth. Best to gamble in Real Estate, than on Dice or Cards and an ivory ball. At least you will end up with something in Real Estate.

If someone were to post 'Craps Secrets Released', visitors will check it out. When the post or posts are the same well used coffee grinds of the last servings... there will be no interest and it will die a quick death.

oh boy, here ya go, trying to apply logic and common sense ......in the DI world, logic and common sense cease to exist, haven't you learned that from reading this board.

every person who preaches and practices DI and posts on the internet, is a winner, don't you know that, or did you miss those 2 million posts proclaiming such.

the internet is a tool used by DI schools, instructors, advertisers, cohorts, partners in crime, asshole buddies, nothing more.
The internet spread this DI nonsense like a plague.
anyone remotely connected to anything DI comes to the internet for certification/confirmation (not the right word, but cant think of the word Im looking for right now)that it works, even if they haven't won a nickel even once.

    Liman may have a point...

Is there a six step immunization series of shots to cure nonsense?

Has a computer been developed, so powerful, yet not capable to disclose the secrets of DI and offer these facts by WikiCraps so the ignorant masses can understand?

At the Equator, when a toilet is flushed, the water does NOT rotate. Is that true of a pair of well thrown dice into a toilet, while on a Cruise?

So many Cats. So few Recipes. That also applies to half cooked Craps. When can anyone know when you are done with Craps and go into something productive like raising chickens?

Id think theyd just stick to the casinos to get all the satisfaction one would ever need, money. lots of it. instead, they come here and similar craps websites to tell everyone else who doesn't believe in di just how good it really is.
    its a twisted logic.
this is not the place to prove what a great di tosser one is, the casino is the right place.

affirmation (my favorite & possibly the most accurate)
    praise
    acknowledgement
    chops
    attestation
    validation
    recognition
    appreciation
    respect
    concession
    approval
    concurrence
to name just a few off the top of my head

now in fairness everybody of course wants these things it just seems that in the area of dice influence that they would not be important at all...capability, success, self-satisfaction and, need it even be said?, profits should be all that matters...

also, long island man, it was not my intention to provide you with a vocabulary lesson as i know that you know all these words and you did say that you just "couldn't think of the right word"

--- sadly at my age such senior moments are all too common and so it is with empathy as well as my usual effort merely to entertain myself that i post this drivel.

    ----------some wide-ranging opinions-------
Well, No, long island man, braggart is NOT what they are looking for, not how DIers want to be perceived by others...

i left out delusional & plenty of others too...for the same reason.

i think that it is right to note too that not all DIers are as insecure as these adjectives suggest...think of those that engage in personal attacks and name-calling...these are the ones mostly who are so unsure, so insecure of their positions, so longing for affirmation & its lack thereof that they must resort to such unfortunate depths.

anyway, no matter: anyone with a modicom of critical thinking should find it is easy enough to sort all of that out...

i might add too that the delusions and innumeracy regarding craps not only do not necessarily translate into valid information about the content of one's character and loving values (although some of the irrational, over-the-top, downright vicious and unwarranted personal attacks just might be)---but in fact IMO opinions about the game of bank craps are a poor measure for such judgments of character...

for one thing ---and unless you are compulsive & from what i gather from serious studies about 10% (that percentage is so commonly cited that one grants it a good measure of credibility) of the population are damagingly compulsive about any number of things, gambling, of course being an important and tragic one...yet one would be hard-pressed to call damaging (an important adjective here) compulsiveness as dominant--- it is simply a very human compunction---IMO a genetic one---to attempt to overcome NEGATIVE EXPECTATIONS. this disposition has been the source for much human progress. (think overcoming gravity...flight...my "guess" is that ancient, failure-ridden dream pre-dates history, possibly even pre-dates homo sapiens, as erect man contemplated the avian welt)

what is often forgotten or not talked about---craps forums being a familiar exception---is that these very human and ,again IMO, admirable efforts most often result in failure or at best questions about the efficacy of the attempted outcomes.

delusions and wishful thinking are natural outcomes of such failures or questionable outcomes and should not be condemned out of hand.

-g. geist: well, now, mr poet & philosopher, that wasn't bad
--tom p: gosh, thanks...coming from you that's high praise
---g. geist: right...just don't get too optimistic about future observations
    ----tom p: ho! b'lie' me i won't...

I obviously have been isolated in my Cave, too long.

James Hall may want to explain his position, so those as myself, can have an opinion on this matter.

I have yet to discover anyone 100% wrong or 100% right on any Topic concerning Craps, or any games of chance. By understanding one's motivation to support or suppress an idea being discussed, more information gives others a chance to debate point by point.

Grading on the 'curve' is best.

Example: If someone is 50% correct and 50% wrong and the next is 45% correct and 55% wrong... the curve in grading says the 50% is the 100% individual and the 45% is the next at 90%. So even then even percentages are suspect.

Craps is not that difficult on the mathematical side. You will lose, eventually.

Everything else is speculation and hearsay.

The "position" is he can alter expected outcomes.

I've been told to go see him in Mesa "and see for yourself"...

The problem is that what I will see has never been articulated beyond generalizations. He has stated he can hit the 6's and 8's. Well, the bohunk offered that (1 single solitary extra 6 in 36)....over a course of 10 sets (360 rolls). He flat out said no. So, then I must ask...what could possibly be demonstrated in Mesa? Generalizations are shit. We all know that. Results are the ONLY thing that matters. Toss mechanics, setting, gyrations, landing zone....ALL meaningless UNLESS one accomplishes results.

We can then reverse engineer. But...but...the elephant in the room. We need numbers.

Hell, the bohunk challenge does offer some insight into ones abilities to control...but none want to take it. Hell, don't do it for money. Forget the money. Do it because you can do it. I don't need your $10 or $100. It's being given to Jacob regardless. Do it because you can do it. A feather in the cap. That's the shit that will go a long way...while not proving or disproving DI----but respect that you took it AND respect that you beat it........to use tomp's words......

affirmation (my favorite & possibly the most accurate)
    praise
    acknowledgement
    chops
    attestation
    validation
    recognition
    appreciation
    respect
    concession
    approval
    concurrence

The debate will always rage on..but you've got a helluva golden ticket you can show everyone.

Someone like DI Dave from Connecticut takes the challenge and accomplishes the task...I can't speak for others---but major respect, back slapping and a hearty "kudos Dave" from me.

Tomp has generously offered several variations (numbers, more or less beyond expectation). As of today...2 takers. Both non DI. Myself and Random Roller.

While the parameters of the bohunk are certainly not easy...it does offer some CONCRETE (not generalizations) numbers to show you can do something...other than the James Hall type generalizations of "let me show you"...

Craps is a numbers game. Give me numbers.

The bohunk has numbers attached to it.

Forget the money part. Do the DO part.

Not only my name comes up , but your name and the names of others on this forum . Some people know about me and what I do
they monitor this forum and others from time to time and read the two opposing sides of the controversy
They will call me asking how this situation can be so polarized
    My explanation is
some people have looked into the DI thing , some have even received training while others simply post opinions without
truly exploring the possibilities and because they know nothing about it they THINK it has no value
As one collar said , "In other words they assume it doesn't work because they know nothing about it" ??
    I said yeah pretty much
the caller said "that's crazy" He said "don't they ever see it happen" ?
    I said yeah
He said "they see it and the don't believe it"??
I said yeah pretty much when they see it they chalk it up to VARIANCE
    He said "that's crazy"
    I said yeah pretty much
