All that is very true and I must say very profound , I agree with it all One can start with a mentor , learn what he can teach and then expand beyond that , to as far as his desire , imagination and effort can take him start with a sound base Many years ago , when I was maybe 12 years old I was pestering a former major league baseball player in my home town to teach me one day he said , "Jimmy is there any end to your questions" I told him I didn't know after some lengthy conversation I told him "If I can ask enough questions I will know what you know and everything I know then maybe I will be smarter than you are" He laughed and said "you may be right" He taught me for 4 more years till his death He was one of those precious episodes in ones life , which can make you grateful for having just been allowed to be in his presence the ability to learn is a gift squandered by so many I appreciate your response and you are spot on
