seems like a lot of Asian owners of dirty restaurants in vegas.

although I doubt its much different in any large city with dirty eateries. (non Asian owners)

I didn't find too many of the first video violations that alarming, lilke door open, dirty stove handle,

Ive dealt with inspectors in business my entire life, if there are no violations they must write one up anyway or they will lose their job, according to them, every business has to have at least one violation no matter how minute or insignificant.

I watched a show here once on golden corral buffet restaurants, something like 20 out of 28 they went into failed the inspections on the spot.

yet, none were closed and they were all packed.

I was an elevator inspector for years traveling all over the country to do so. If it wasn't for being an elevator inspector I wouldn't have met my wife. It was my job to tell the truth and there were a few times that I didn't write anything up but a letter telling the owners of the elevators what a great job their elevator company was doing.

I had one job that I was expecting in for the VA Hospitals in Bath New York that as I walked around the corner I ran into a boss that I worked for his elevator company in Fla.

I quit that job because of some of the things he did. The look on his face was priceless when he saw me inspecting the elevators. His company had done a modernization on a few of the elevators there. One thing about Fla is they put out a type of newsletter on where you can bid on jobs all over the country or on products that someone needs. I used to export some of my products around the world and would get those newsletters when I had my business.

I didn't find anything wrong with what he did and said so in my report! But I knew that he was sweating it when I left there. Just like anything else some inspectors do their jobs and nothing else!

The Dirty Dining on this board to make sure that you don't get sick. There are a few restaurants around town that I will not eat in because I've gotten diarrhea after eating in them. I wouldn't want that to happen to you!

Well having been in the FBI for sooo many years I can tell you that inspections is one thing and reports are another. I began my inspection career early in life. I was 6 or 7 years old for my first full female body inspection. It was a neighborhood group effort for us to inspect every female body in the neighborhood. None were spared. Little sisters, big sisters mom,s all were to be inspected and graded but the reporting needed to be kept confidential. Most inspections were conducted in person. The best inspections were of course voluntary where there was some sort of trade off. These may have occurred more often than short distance inspections and continues sometimes to this day but, the first experience early inspections were the most memorable. There were some photo inspections but it was too expensive. Now we had certain standards and there were rules but they too could be on occasion set aside for the good of the inspection experience. One inspector had 6 different female bodies in household and was very forthwith sharing opportunities which is where the first mom came from but once introduced that rule was tossed out. Mostly because Peters mom was highly prized but once he saw Mikes mom well he had to help. Yea we hid in her closet. By Jr High we had a reputation and a list where some females in class were seeking the top. It was fun. Lots of strip poker and behind the curtain inspections. When Wayne knocked up Nikki in 9th grade we had a setback. Waynes dad was a local police officer and the questions began to go beyond their relationship but Wayne fell on his sword and left the bureau. They had the baby.. A boy.
As the exposure attracted new interest one new agent enthusiast quickly volunteered his sister one summer. We spent lots on nights watching her from the edge of the garage roof. No one can tell me she did not know we were there. We were getting older and the inspections were leading us to places we were only beginning to understand. Wayne's situation opened all of our eye's. Come to think of it he was a founding member. By High school the mission had been accomplished. Playboy mag was everywhere and interest subsided for reporting but. WE had a FBI for a while. When it mattered......

And every city in the country. They usually reuse the food from the day before, suspect quality to begin with and cleaning is nonexistent.

I don't know if its only them, news out there makes it seem like that.....if other than they are the only people risking the investment to open food businesses in competition with casinos.Ive never met an Asian person who isn't dedicated and hard working.
ld like to see them going into some of the casinos restaurants and see what they can find there. Aint happening too fast.

ONLY the Espanola's could / would dedicate a song to the " Cockroach " -

ONE can only imagine what the Orientals sing / dream about !

    Cats, rats, dogs ?

Then again - one needs to look NO FURTHER than THEIR CALENDAR -

To get a close-up perspective where THEIR allegiances lie -

The YEAR of the " Monkey " , of the " RAT " , etc., etc, and etc. ! o_O

    The Oriental Zodiac !

    $...eE..$

I would have fit in with your group.
I used to put small pieces of mirrors in my penny loafers when I was a kid and talk to all the girls who wore dresses or skirts.
My mother caught me a few times standing at the bottom of the escalator a few times looking up when she was shopping in korvettes.

Great eye's and very creative. Best part was while in high school the Hot pants and Mini skirts came out.
It always impressed me that even on the coldest days half of the girls would have the legs out when they came in the front door. My High school has a set of 9 steps right after the entrance. I can still picture a few of these girls who would come in with these tight skirts on that would ride up their butts as they made their way up the stairs every morning. We were right there watching.
It got so bad one morning the assistant principal Stopped Janice (outstanding legs) as she came in the door with this tiny tight little skirt (hot pants were not allowed), all cold and told her to go back home and change. We booed him. That was the same year the Mets won the pennant and the series I think. Paid little attention.
