Just saw it with my wife and posted on the “Las Vegas” thread.
Can’t beat the price. Yes, you can. Tuesday all tix are $5.
This is our first movie since Covid.
There were only FOUR people in the theatre for this 1:15 pm viewing. Amazing.
For Inside...the seventies baby
I like the original better 1959
Re: Many Saints
Moltisanti means “many Saints” in Italian. That’s a hint that the movie is about the Moltisanti family, not the Sopranos.
A lifelong friend paid $11 to see the movie on Friday in the Baltimore suburbs, double our price here. Damn.
For those who will see the movie- The movie starts in a cemetery, narration by Christopher. Please take note of the names on the tombstones. I thought that I saw something that no one else has seen. Maybe I am nuts. That’s all that I want to say about it.
I heard there was much Italian expressions......which I would be interested in.......that would fly past most people........the movie was not panned like you said, but it wasn't praised to the high heavens either........a squel is impossible not to happen to start where this one left off.....
I seldom align with movie critics.
The “squel” should come right after the SEQUEL.
Duck did you know they have a better pill than Hydrochloriquine that you should start taking immediately its called D.D.T
I didn’t “pan” it. I said that it was OK, not very good…In other words, it was fair. Panned means to severely criticize. I didn’t do that. I said that I was disappointed. I enjoyed the series so much that I probably had unreasonable expectations. Breaking Bad, Sopranos and The Wire are the best series that I have ever seen and I have watched each of them many times. BB is the best.
I guess that it had its share of Italian expressions, but it was not as Italian as The Godfather. I think that some of the mannerisms of well known characters were overdone and exaggerated.
The professional critics seem to have enjoyed it more than me, but feedback from the public appears to be mixed.
There will certainly be a sequel to this prequel.
that means that one of yous is wrong........
