    This is Barney

The LID told me the reason it only took a little over 2 hours for the most greatest Captains roll because it started at 5 AM and only the late Captain, Frank, the late Sach, the late Dan Mahoney, and the late Joe Biden witnessed all or part of the roll.

Could be wrong, but I don't believe that the late Satch was ever mentioned as crew member in Frank's book that introduced us to the exploits of the Captain.

Now I have not read any other of his books discussing the Admiral except the last one released a few years ago, which wasn't much of a read.

The point here being that if the late Satch was not mentioned in the first book but became important in later books, something is fishy, and I am not referring to Ohio river trout.

Ask LID if Biden kicked anyone's ass at the Claridge that day.

there are long rolls everyday that go unnoticed. LJG had one hell of a roll couple of
years ago at Turtle lake, Carlito had a 100 rolls at Keshena, Pat Karcz had the longest
roll I have seen at Carter 4 years ago. Few years a go I saw a kid throw for well over
    2 hours in Atlantic City.

All I know is I have had several over 60 rolls and that seemed like forever, I cant imagine
    over 100 rolls.

Hmmm....some of those individuals might have less credibility than the 2017 Houston Astros.

OK asshead, hears how it would work. $500 pass line $100 horn, (high yo), take the dice in hand, throw them to the back wall, "YO-Lebbum". Thank you very much, remind me to tip you next time, Ta-da. One Fkin roll, wages made, time for some R&R. :) Very efficient.

100 or more rolls at a craps table in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, or a casino in a major US city will *not* go unnoticed. It will at least make the local news and social media. If it happens at an IGRA casino off the beaten track, yeah, probably not many paying attention.

Efficiency Ma'am. It's not a matter of how many rolls you had, or how long the roll lasted, it's a matter of, how much did you win on that roll, no matter the length. A 100 roll hand, yeah right, how often will you see that, in your lifetime? Maybe once, twice if you're a real big liar. I'm not sure what the longest roll I've seen is. I know I only walked with $900, though. I was only playing the 6/8, started $6 pressed one unit with each hit, till I got to $60, then collected $75 for $5 several times each. About 14 hits each, so if the throw was near proportional, that would be about a 100 roll hand. $900, that's all. Happened in the late 80s at the old Hacienda. Pit boss was pissed. Ma'am.

I have nothing against Scoblete. He is trying to sell his books and (at one point) GTC classes. Who would buy a craps book that tells the reader he/she can't win? That being said, I'm of the opinion The Captain is a product of his imagination along with a healthy dose of embellishment thrown in for good measure. Perhaps there is (was) a real life person upon whom The Captain was partially based. Similar to Ian Fleming taking things from his own life and injecting them into 007. Others might have a very different viewpoint and that's fine. In the end, the widely acknowledged record for most consecutive rolls before a 7 out at a casino craps table was held by Stanley Fujitake before Pat DeMauro beat it in 2009.

Scoblete sent me a couple of his books for free a few years ago. He even paid for postage. I read the craps tails with interest and wondered how much is fiction and how much is fact. i am sure there is both. I found it to be entertaining and somewhat educational. No harm no fowl.
