Personally, I don't feel the field is a beatable bet and I don't believe in hedging.

How much profit are your losing hedge bets costing you on field rolls that win?

Anybody ever notice how often this guy is trying to make a "4"? And how we never see any bets on the screen? Why do you suppose that would be?

Lots of back to back numbers, and repeats separated by a few rolls. Are those Interblock rolls?

When Resorts World Aquaduct introduced Interblock Bubble Craps eight or nine years ago, there were three dice in the bubble. One was for sic-bo. They were so large, they would often get stuck on their sides for a no-roll, and the tech would have to open the bubble to reset them.

A few players who believed this was also causing repeaters, would wait for a number to roll, and place it for $300 or more on the next roll or two, expecting it to repeat. I don’t know how well they did overall, but they were there every day for months, and only disappeared after Interblock made the dice a little smaller.

If I was playing the machine where those rolls were recorded, I would try their strategy. Very much smaller bets though.

That's an Aruze bubble craps, not interblock.

We have had some discussions, mainly off line (smart) of potential flaws or design nuances that may give a “tell” into bubble craps results. I’ve been experimenting with some of those. Trust me, if and when I can determine a bias, I won’t be spraying it on a forum.

I have much more confidence that a “tick” or "tell" in a relatively new game could be discovered long before one in a 200 year old game that’s been running effectively.

I also like the idea that the past 15 rolls are given to you...effectively printed out. It gives you an up close look at what has happened as opposed to the table where you would really have to manually keep track...unless you have a photographic memory.

It also tells you hot or cold on the spot for how you play....if you believe in that stuff. On a table, you can look at the chips in players rack....but that doesn't tell you if they are playing right side or dark side nor does it tel you what their buy in was. A bubble instantly tells if it's hot or cold based on your play. You would have to observe a table for a while to know.

You see a lot of strange things that happen with the bubble craps machine but the one thing you do not see is anything that you can make repeatable money on the guys that think they found something all end up the same way broke!

Every time I would stop by one of those machines to see one of my buddies the same guys were playing them and that all changed.

They stopped playing them because they were getting beat!

The machines are random if you do not know how to bet they are going to beat you!

its been my experience, maybe 7-8 years experience at bubbles, that the strange things that happen are more likely to be the players themselves.
a lot of strange erratic behavior.
people talking back to the computer voice, people actually thinking they are manipulating the dice by waiting 8 seconds each time to roll.
people kicking and banging the screen because they bet 50 dollar hi-lo 5 times in a row and they didn't win anything.

people thinking hey, its gotta be rigged, fixed, lets make a killing and figure it out.
people claiming they have the bubble figured out and brag about how much they win all the time.

strange? gamblers are 100X stranger than any casino table or machine Ive ever seen

Ill confess, I wore the same green shirt with leaves on it, for years and years because it seemed I won most of the times I wore it. Eventually, a hole developed in the collar and my wife cut it up and made a pillow case out of it. I miss that shirt.

    I tend to agree...

People look for patterns in non patterned results and it's not that difficult to convince themselves....especially, for some reason, as it pertains to gambling.

I'm thoroughly convinced that if there is some derandomizing of results...that player should probably have the calculations to back it up. One thing about bubble craps.....seeing that pattern up close, in print can play mind games with some people.

I'll see it when I walk past the roulette table when it's 8 reds in a row and someone will specifically go over to bet black. Red. Do it again..red. At that point, you want to tell them let it go. LOL.
Ah, shit...nail on head. I've gotten an earful of more reasons why certain results are happening than I care to share. At the bubble....I generally give them the "yeah, yeah, yeah....number 254"....."I'll add it to my book". LOL.

Look, the bubble dice have the rounded corners and the launch table keeps them bouncing when they land and that is why you see the strange things!

If you really want some good laughs just watch some of the things the players do when they are loosing. From the little bit of time I have stood there talking to some of my friends I've seen these guys flip out!
