Start each and every point sequence with $10 line bet and $10 odds. Then increase the odds bet in $10 increments as inside numbers roll, stopping at $50 odds. Then start anew after resolution of every point. Doing much better with this, compared to pass odds with traditional inside, 6 8, or across action. Too many bets and too many PSOs make place betting extra tough with the dice they have now. Another benefit is that you dont have to get the dealers involved with placing your bets. Use a $600 session bankroll which is a 10 shooter bankroll at max exposure of $60 per shooter.

Some will not like one bet only, as they want more action, but your bankroll will thank you.

I like your strategy. A chance to make some nice wins without putting big chunks or your bankroll at risk.

I would never do it because I am an action junkie. I make a continuous COME bet with 5X odds, so I need
the $600 to play 2 hands.

But now on to the more important issue.... You joined the forum in 2010 and just today decided to make your first post?

I mean it's a great post, don't get wrong. But surely you could have chimed in sooner?

How did you remember your password after 10 years?

I would say: Welcome! But you have 5 years seniority over me so this may not be appropriate.

    Good luck! Have fun!

74 thats a nice play...I do it often the only difference if a pass is made I'll increase my flat to 15 and stay with single odds of 15 or 16

    7746,

    Excellent play!

I suggest a couple of other things to do with your one bet play:

    (1) Once ahead by approximately $100, depending on maximum odds you have available, put out something like $10 flat/$60 odds or if less than 10x odds are in play, put out $25 flat/$50 odds.

Figure out an aggressive but not crippling progression to take advantage of winners when they are happening.

    (2) Especially when the flat bets are getting big, don't be afraid to use what the Dice Doctor calls "the best bet on the table" - the parlay of your come out winner.

If you had planned on playing 25/50 and see a come out winner at $25, leave it sit as $50 for another come out. You might see the $50 turn into $100 immediately. If not, as long as there is no come out craps, you still have an opportunity to turn your $25 into $100 with a comeback winner without the risk of odds.

I have been a one bet player for over 15 years now, and as you say, you don't lose much even when you lose. This is a good thing because there will be plenty of losing sessions.

The best thing about this sort of play, other than the occasional big winner, is the fact that you appear to most players and crew to be someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Most leave you alone, but a few will give you their "expert advice" as to how to play "better."

I more of a player than a poster, now with all the casinos closed for this Chinese Virus, have a lot of time on my hands. I play craps almost everyday so I usually busy. I started off years ago betting pass odds with continuous come bets with $10 odds or so, then changed to various place betting inside, 6 and/or 8, across, you name it I tried it.
Finally I started above out of necessity if I wanted to stay in the game, and it has worked good overall. Bad days do happen but I limit my daily loss to max of $600. And most days I win $100+.

Its all about the best chance of winning in my book. Losing with multiple bets is no fun either., 3-4 consecutive psos not unusual these days.

So you play craps by betting the pl and make no other bets......is that how you play ?...........to me, that's like being married with no sex or eatting popcorn with no butter and salt..........I guess you can do it but , overall, it's not a good way to go thru life.......however, if you ENJOY playing that way....by all means do it........but for sure, not my cup of tea.

It's OK to have fun playing craps, but not at the expense of your expenses.

7446 seems to have found evidence through experience that one bet at a time is a good way to prevent major losses at a game designed to take every bet you make into the bank on one roll of the dice.

Many players see this happen time after time after time and continue to put out a lot of bets. Sure, there are sessions where they see some nice winners, but because they are losing a lot more than the single bettor when they lose, they are likely to fare worse overall.

I wouldn't play the game if there wasn't at least a chance to score a big win playing this way, and will admit it isn't real likely to happen. But you do have the possibility for a nice winner with aggressive enough of a progression while winning, and you have to do this if you want at least a bit of excitement from time to time.

I don't get this. Are you saying increase my odds when inside numbers are rolling, even if some of those numbers are not mine?

Its real simple guys, cant get much simpler than this one. Just playing the pass line bet AND odds. Start with $10 odds on every new point sequence. Then if an inside number is rolled after the point is established then increase the odds bet by $10 so it is now $20. Keep doing this as inside numbers roll until either the point is made or 7out. Start anew on every new point sequence. Only one number covered with passline and odds on the point, no other bets.

The latest couple of sessions before the casinos closed I was a little more aggressive, if the point is 6 or 8 then start with $30 odds, point of 5 or 9 start with $20 odds, point 4 or 10 start with $10 odds. Then proceed per above increasing in $10 increments as inside numbers roll and stop at $50 odds until resolution of the point. I was having larger up and down swings with it, but the upside was there.

Your question stopping at fiddy present two possibilities.

    1. OP have $600 buy in and wish to have 10 opportunity

    2. OP playing at maximum five times odds table

Consider inside numbers favorable so increase odds incrementally. You can keep going on odds if you have 10x odds, occasionally when winning I keep going until I hit $100 odds. Try it on Wizard of Odds and experiment with your own odds betting scheme, but focusing on the odds bet is the key.

Why not up your odds as you win like KoKo does? Do not get raising odds on inside numbers rolled.
