Ok so, I have been looking into the damned mandatory pass line to throw problem, face it, with odds, it jumps your costs.

The solution I found?raise your base bet & no odds.

Say you play a 10$ table.

10$ pass, 10$ odds pay 22, cost 20, only pay 10 on comeout.

Making a place pays 14 for 10(12) so to make 6&8 pay good you need to invest 32$ For a 14-10-22 payout.

Making your pass 15 and no odds or 20 at 15$ level. Pays 15-20 comeout and same after the point for 2-3$ more then a place bet would pay on that number.

Where is it advantageous? Odds are you will win 22% on comeout and 40% on first point! Making it one of the best bet in casino!

Odds are great later, I would transition to 10$ pass 10 odds on second point. But they raise your exposure when you just started to roll. Make the right move! No odds on first point. Unless your on darkside!

Note that it’s only a part of my strategy, but an important find I guess! Why, cuz a comeout winner can make you transition into inside bet for reduced price!

The pass lines appeal is only on the comeout roll. Once a point is established, it's value has plummeted.

Pass is the one bet that F’s up most betting strategy, you forget to rebet, you forget to press, you don’t use comeout wins.

Saying it’s value plummet after point is set is true. But you still have 40% chance to win it. So I think tagging odds to it is overestimated and should be only done in a progression. Or you make max odds and down after first hit.

You don't need a pass line bet on the Interblock bubble machine if you have one in your area.

I’m not a fan of those.

I do MUCH better at a table. Even on a losing day.

I think the issue lies with needing a pass line bet when throwing the dice. If you don't want to throw the dice, there's no problem.

If you're a DI though, you'd believe you have the edge on the PL though, so I don't know what they're complaining about

Just an option for those days your point isn’t showing up as often. DI don’t always succeed, believe me. I know good ones, I play a lot. Having a plan for the bad days is never a bad idea.

At last! For years I've been wondering what the devil these guys were doing. It's now obvious that James is taking his loot to his bull and going home while Parker and Glenn were on their way to the pit.

Bah make it what you make every post, a trolling fest instead of a discussion.

I tested it and I like it. Regulates my system, reduce my cost. I thought I might give you guys a hint. But if you don’t like help, keep what you’re doing.

But if you ask me...I’m loving it.

Don't stop what you're doing Freddy. It good to see craps talk around here instead of the petty arguing that flys around here.

You can also go out for minimum on the DP when shooting.

IMO, way too many players see the line bets as an unimportant and inconvenient part of the game.

Freddy, you are correct about "one of the best bets in the casino", and this bet works much better with the use of parlays.

In my mind, the use of parlays on these bets from both directions are an excellent play, allowing for a 4 for 1 winner on the parlay and an 8 for 1 winner on the 3 in a row.

These wins never involve the additional risk of odds, and even when they lose, what is lost is house money, except for the original outlay.

Since 1/3rd of the rolls are either a seven or horn number the pass and come bets or DP DC bets are the primary bets on the table and also commonly the most neglected as far as strategy. After years of neglect I have recently given much more attention to these bets.

They are also the only bets on the table where you hold an advantage over the house even if it is only until the bet is contracted.

Was well rewarded last night on a string of 6 straight comeout rolls that were either sevens or elevens.
