DeMango touched on something the other day."Why would a retired DI move to LV and then start working ? "
Let me attempt to provide an answer. Why.? Maybe they brought a shovel with them! Probably figured this is easy-maybe some early success.Tide turns maybe get a couple of markers.Yes markers have to be repaid, hence the need to work again.

Then you couple that with a full press on the first hit strategy- excuse me - full press with added money strategy. Can we say Impending Disaster?
Are we playing craps or making a Hollywood movie lol

Good thing he is adding to Trump`s employment numbers. While still working he needs his dice fix.DeMango those $3 tables getting a little crowded?

My #1 problem is a $3 table with full payout on the ATS. Can't get near the table, won't play if there are 4 or more. Biloxi has several.

You would love it, a di dream, with less vig (7%+/-) than a hardway on the old payout. Firebet 20%+ vig, highway robbery.

Why would a skilled craps player plat machines?
That would be like a former NBA player , joining an industrial basketball league in new york

He's not a DI but someone said when TDVegas retired he moved HIS trailer to Vegas so he could play EVERYDAY
TDV said something the other day about getting a $5000 pension check , going into a casino and not caring because
next month another $5000 check is in the mailbox
A lot of people do that though , move to Vegas and become degenerate gamblers , it happens a lot
but first they go from Craps to the bubble then bumming money so they can play
then they sell their trailer and live under a bridge

Living under a bridge ain't half bad in Vegas Mr. Boots Brasher. Here's the free digs Hardley and Supperick provided me and Barney during the 2016 post-ACA. Nice and cool during the day and no resort or parking fees (also very close to the In and Out burger joint).

Very nebulous topic subject line Dave...Like James, I too thought you were talking about TDV...Are you talking about Poopshit driving the Uber or Supperick searching for gold and aliens to support their craps fix?

You best be fleet of foot when the rains come, they fill that culvert up mighty fast. I saw a car floating down one of those culverts one day after a desert rain storm there. :)

Everyone knows it doesn't rain in the desert. However, Supperick said the water coming into Barney and my free Post-ACA accommodations one night was part of the ACA room package and he called it an in-room jackusse or something.

Flash flooding can be a big problem in Vegas. The homeless camp out in those flood channels and there are deaths every year. Fast and furious when it rains.

Even in the mountains and desert areas....the ground is very hard and the water isn't absorbed. Like a raging river.

Linq always floods on heavy rains.

many reasons moving to Nevada makes sense if you can control your gambling and not empty your bank account.
I beiieve, no state income tax, lower real estate taxes, lower prices for real estate.
beautiful weather 8 months a years. very low humidity which is wonderful for arthritis sufferers, and other types of allergy sufferers.

there are craps tables within 2 hours of everyone these days, moving there to play is not a good reason.

Why would a retired DI move to LV and then start working ?
The gambling degenerates in this town is mind blowing! Many people, retired or unemployed, come here thinking that they are 'All That' when it comes to casino gambling. Many come here thinking that they can thrive on Poker rooms, blackjack card counting, DI Craps shooting, or Video Poker. So about 99% of them fail, and they are forced to take low level jobs to scrap together a bankroll to try again or they just leave Vegas to go back to where they came from.

Anyone in this town who is living off of gambling is GRINDING. I think celebs like Bob Dancer and Jean Scott have written very good books about grinding, and they are still out there grinding even now.

Basically what they are saying is this: If you are gambling without an advantage, your loses will soon overtake your wins and you will be a 'Lose out' aka broke.
