I'm working on finishing up revisions to a Craps game that I wrote for Windows, and I'd like to get the maximum wager logic working correctly so it resembles a "typical" casino's rules. Since I have never been in a situation where I was betting at the upper limit of a table, this is somewhat foreign to me. Suppose the table maximum is 2500. Would the following be correct? Even money bets (Pass Line, Don't Pass, Come, Don't Come, Big 6/8) would all be limited to 2500 max wager Place Bets and Buy Bets are limited to 2500 max wager (even though the payout is more than even money?) Field is limited to 2500 max wager (even with 2x and 3x payout for 2 and 12?) Lay Bet would be limited so that the winning is 2500 max (?) Prop Bets are limited so a winning payout does not exceed some multiplier of the table maximum (such as 3x) Odds are not subject to the table limit, but have their own declared limits (such as 3x-4x-5x, or even 10x the flat bet) For Prop Bets, I read that 3x or 5x the table limit are common win limits. Any observations as to which is more common?
