My little trip to Harrah's Cherokee in Cherokee North Carolina with my wife for our drive to the casino however it was raining the whole way but we got there on Friday and I strolled up to the table and looked around and look at the bubble craps machines I am of the opinion that there were a couple of guys playing bubble craps and I am of the opinion they weren't sitting there because they were you know enjoying themselves and whatever they were doing it as a business I am of the opinion that they will soon discover or figure out what is giving these guys any ability or Edge to rent roll certain numbers or whatever on the bubble craps machine and then once they will eventually fix it get rid of it or the guys will have to adapt their play does that make sense I'm also using my voice to text so if there's any mistakes forgive me.

I went to the $25 craps table and I was next to a couple of gentlemen who were using I think they call them big red chips their kind of orangish red and they're $1,000 a piece I've never seen this before but there was a couple of very good rollers at the $25 table and I'm of the opinion that rolling dice can be Anderson acquired skill in fact I have been told it is even if it is even harder than becoming a scratch golfer I never got the scratch but I was an 18 handicap whatever that means but it was it was okay I was okay so it looks like I'm going to have to maybe get some schooling some lessons or whatever on how to throw the dice but craps is so much more of a fun game and having the high rollers next to me I was at stick left and I'm very short as you guys know I'm only 5 foot 4 but it was fun it was fun so alright that's a little update and yeah I would I would not enjoy sitting at a bubble craps machine even if we are making 400 to $500 for that time sitting there but the guys that were sitting at the bubble craps machine did not look like they were very happy or having a good time but they were keeping their hands over the the bumper where you hit your hand on it to pop the dice up in the air and they really they were covering their hands so nobody can see what they're doing but I could see it very plainly I was on the exact opposite side of one guy all right guys that's the update but yeah thanks.

Give us a little more detail as to how many craps tables are open and what is the range of minimums available, and what kind of sucker, I mean, exotic wagers do they have at craps. Also what kind and how many of the bubble machines are there. I've heard they expanded that place since I've been there, give us a rundown on the size of the place, and what all they have available now.

They had 5 tables open they had 2 ten dollar and 2 15 dollar tables and I was on the 25 dollar table.
They only had one shoot to win game open and they also had several 25 min dollar bac tables and my wife said no way dont play the 25 bac table.
Now she loved the 25 dollar craps table with all the orange, black and green chips lol.

They had had the ALL TALL AND SMALL BETS THAT ARE 150 TO 1.

They only have one Shoottowinbubblecraps game.

I never saw any real long rolls or consistent DI throwers.

My wife said it would be ok for me to go out and see James Hall in Mesa should things work out.

    Stuart

I smiled at the bubblecraps cowboys they know the little moneytrain they are on will soon come to an end
Its so obvious its not funny I was on to them in a minute and so was my wife they just smiled at me but I cant ride 4 hours each way to make a few hundred they are most likely locals in the Cherokee area.

Good reports Stuart Brandt and props to you for considering making the pilgrimage.

The nice superrick visited James and vetted his craps credentials; and I stand by that, despite James being James. So Godspeed.

Sure, there are issues, but there will always be; like the Montagues v Capulets, Hatfields v McCoys etc but THIS, it's only craps, not life or death.

And none of us would play it if we didn't think we couldn't win.

Thanks Harrahs Cherokee is a really nice place to play and stay.

I know when I take the plunge into serious craps play it will take some real hard practice and most likely 500 practice rolls a day.

When I played golf I had no problem hitting 300 balls a day.

Hey guys I forgot to I'm using my voice to text so there should not be any mistakes I hope guys I forgot to mention when I was done at Harrah's Cherokee I noticed on the $25 table they had a disc in the exact center of the table and it had six lights pointing upward towards the ceiling so I don't know what this was but I asked the The Pit Boss and I asked the Dealer's I said what is that light in the middle of the table price pointing straight up and it appears they said it was a to count every single roll so I don't know maybe this slight thing is taking pictures of the dice as they're flying over the center of the table to make sure they got to roll with that make sense but yeah it's a light and a disc in the middle of the table facing upward in other words they it seems that every time get a room they pass the dice over this lighted thing is anybody know what that is cuz I'm not they just said it was to count the rolls what does that make sense??????

Last time I was at Cherokee they had some tables with ATS and some tables with fire bet. I believe they have the reduced payouts on the ATS if I remember correctly. Can’t say I was ever a big fan of Cherokee. I actually like Murphy a tad better if I had to pick one over another. Cherokee is a lot bigger with more tables and more options for food. So I am sure Liman would prefer Cherokee.

    Stuart,

Thanks for the trip details, I always enjoy hearing about casinos that I've never been to.
I wouldn't mind hearing non specific details if you did okay or not with the battle, or war at the table yourself and the high rollers too.

I've never seen or heard of this device you mention, I'd sure be interested to learn the truth about it (if even possible).
Anything electronic /computerized on Craps tables, I'm definitely AGAINST IT. I know too much to put an ounce of belief into it being, or staying, "completely random" that goes double on tribal reservation land. Because, there IS a DIFFERENT set of rules for them, period.

    Eight!..... eeeeasyEight!

After reading your post, and having a few days off last week, I decided to make the drive to Cherokee last week. Did OK on the tables, won about $900 net, but lost about 1/2 of that messing with other bullshit games, like their bubble, same shit as I've witnessed elsewhere. I won't go into any details but take my word for it, it was ridiculous.
I saw that light "thingy" you were talking about, so I asked the lady that was dealing to me " what the F'k is that GD thing"? She said it counted the throws, but didn't have any explanation when I asked, "how the f'k does it do that"? Anyway they had about 9 craps tables, 1/2 of them manned, and pretty busy. They offer 10X odds. They have the ATS but at the FU payoffs of 30/150/30. I tried it it a couple of times, once I made about 3 numbers, the next time I killed it with a first roll, come-out 7. I beat them using my patented "Sentry" play, which they totally hated, and I felt "so-damned-bad" about that. They had two bubbles both Aruze, and though I only played one of them, I think it's safe to say, you don't want to play them. Never saw more than about 3 seats filled, on the busiest one, never saw any players on the other one, which appeared to be newer. They had a twelve lane bowling alley, and a game room, for under age DIs. Was going to hit the buffet, ( they used to have a pretty good one for about $10-12), the new one was about $30 so, no way. Place is about twice as big as it used to be. That's all I can think to tell you, for now. :)

How did you play the craps table Baron? You are a Doey-Don't player, aren't you? $900 is not too shabby.

Did not use the Doey/Don't, though it was possible since there was a $5 table available. Doey is a grind and had had a couple of sarsaparillas and I was looking for trouble. I have a very nice play that is a hybrid with the D'Alumbert, and something like a hedge play, but does not trade off a win with a loss, which would be counterproductive.
. I call it a "Sentry", play and it is my own design. Ive never seen anybody else play it so if I describe it in detail publicly, it might ID me to somebody. It's not a "go for balls" kind of play but can, and does, produce some nice winners. Best thing about it, is to watch how it effects the psych of the dealer. It'll take that smug grin off their face in a hurry. :)

    Whaa?

You may not enjoy bubble craps for whatever reason...boring, no perceived control, not traditional craps....but I find it laughable that you add "even if we are making $400 to $500".

    Are ya kidding?

Sit me down at a slot machine called "boring play"....if I'm making $400 to $500 playing it, I could give a rats ass that my time on it is boring.
