Have at it....
I did everything I could not to take the Pats...in Miami at -17.5. Probably a mistake not to take them.
Can’t remember if I ever saw a NFL money line at bet $2,400 to win $100. LOL. WTH?
Last week Alabama -55 New Mexico State. Money line -600000 (not a misprint). Tide won by 52.
Hope that Denver wins for you tonight.
YOU APPEAR TO BE CORRECT!
I was still in High school.
I'm sure I watched it. I was already a big Jets fan.
They had just won a Super Bowl, what could go wrong?
Where were you when Howard Cosell announced that John Lennon had been murdered outside the Dakota?
I was living in Huntington Beach, CA; bunch of us were watching the game and we were devastated.
Lennon had a good relationship with Howard. Showed up in the booth one earlier MNF.....
I miss Howard. He was one of a kind.
A lot of people didn't like Howard, but always DID. Nobody ever did the halftime weekend highlights, better than Howard. Everything is kind of "generic" these days.
I was home in NJ....watching the game on a 14” TV. I was a big Dolphins fan....couldn’t believe it when it was announced.
Week 1 results....
1. basicstrategy777....(3-1-1) Newcomer in 1st place
2. MisterInside....(3-2) Knows the Ravens or knows the Dolphins
3. Night Attack....(2-3) Some thunder from Down Under
3. von duck....(2-3) Lions and Eagles bust. Bills help
3. TDVegas....(2-3) The Jets! Browns looked pathetic
4. yacraps....(1-4) Lions and Chargers close, no cigar
4. Bases loaded....(1-4) The Dolphins? Really?
Florida teams go 0-3 at home....and all 3 don't look good.
These neck injuries can be damn scary. In a split second, you could lose everything. Hope he's ok.
Broncos with a head scratcher decision, IMO. Down 21-6 with 8 minutes and in the red zone. What on Earth does a field goal do for you? You still need 2 TD's regardless. Go for it on 4th and 7....hope for a TD or 1st down. Then you are 1 TD down with 6 minutes left. Strange decision.
14-20-1 overall....not a good start. Selling picks not an option
Week 2 sheet is up. Good luck.
Coaches choke too. I see a lot of this kind of thing. Many coaches do not have the guts to put the game on the line, until they're under 30 seconds.
I got him at 70%. Still pretty lucky, I mean "good".
Dang!...no wonder I couldn't pick any winners thank you Nightman...come to think of it the board I was using said weenie huh either way its still didn't work ...ok new board and all here we go
On Sunday after the games were over I hated Mondays (school day) when Monday night football started I couldn't wait for Monday (still didn't like school except for recess and lunch)
Who in the mortal hell, would bet $30,000 to win five bucks. Nobody would make that bet, NOBODY!
Week 2 Picks (no laughing)
Cowpokes -5 1/2
Friggin' Jets +2
I don't think that's the way they do it because customer A may know customer B or may have even introduced customer B to that tout.
They have about 8-10 guys selling picks ( or at least one guy with 8-10 pictures of random guys) and the one who is hot heads the list. Eventually when he gets cold, lo and behold another guy is now on a streak and he has all the focus of the site shifted to him.
They may sell a pick for $100 and figure over the long term they will collect $50 from each sale on average when they hit 50%. If they want to collect $100 then they sell their picks for $200.
There's a sucker born every minute.
Yep. This is the crew operating out here in Vegas. 5 of them....all seemingly "independent" but in reality ALL 5 linked together. One of them is not only an ace sports handicapper but claims to be the best dice influencer in the world.
The reality is that no GOOD or profitable handicapper is selling anything. He's merely making his wagers and sipping pina coladas poolside in his villa.
"I'm still not sure of the exact affiliation but there's DEFINITELY a connection between these cappers:
James Jones (OddsWorthBetting.com)
Brian Blessing (TheInsidersGame.com)
Chris Sharp (BookieCrusher.com)
Dom the Dominator (VegasDomination.com)
Jimmy X (HardwoodHitman.com)
All of their sites are very similar in appearance using a "squeeze page" which is designed to capture an email address. All of them offer a $7 3-day fully guaranteed three day trial access that upsells to a future payment of $147/month ($167/month for Chris Sharp).
1) All the domain names were (privately) registered using GoDaddy's registration service DomainsByProxy.com
2) All use the same AutoResponder service YMLP (Your Mailing List Provider) and every email they send out are all formatted exactly the same.
3) All use ClickBank for a payment processor
4) All of the websites are hosted by either BlueHost or WiredTree
5) All use the exact same address of 2780 S. Jones #3480 in Las Vegas NV
Jones has about ten other domains/sites for his service (MarchBookieBuster.com, TriplePlaySystem.com, TotalsEdgeSystem.com, StatHackPlaybook.com, StraightBetSystem.com, PushButtonPicks.com, WinningWithOTB.com, OWBSpecial.com, etc.).
I'm not sure that it's just one person pretending to be different handicappers. More likely there's a pretty decent marketer behind the scenes that has set up all the infrastructure and each capper just submits his daily picks. But there's just way too many similarities to say that they are not connected in some way."
pretty good detective work...TD.
