Ok so here we go.. no bet on come out.. once point is made.. 30$dp. Ex. Shooter rolls 5... place the 5 for 30.. if 7 out then we'e even, if 5 hits were up. If it hits we same bet.. if it hits again you go up 30$ until or if it hits 4 times then take down. I let it get to 3 numbers then follow above.

Either this way or you can be more or less greedy and hit 2 take down or more..please send opinions. Gonna try it live next couple days just wanna keep free playing and see if it stays true? Probably luck

    You mean $30 DC?

The trouble will be having the DC get behind a number. 1 in every 4.5 will lose by a 7 or 11.

Streaks of not being able to leave the DC box will hurt pretty badly. They happen more often than you might think...

The worst part is that for all the PL players, it's a PSO. So everyone's miserable.

Yes sorry. DC. That's why I wait for the point to be made then DC. I find for whatever reason it comes more during the come out. For what that's worth lol. I'e tried it for week now for 40 minutes each time and at the end I've been up all but one time.. I know there' no true way to win but this seems to be consistent

After the DC travels, it will win more often than it loses. I wouldn't place it after this. Sure, you put yourself in a no loss scenario but you'll win more in the long run by not placing.

I agree yes but that is why when it does hit I press it so it kinda follows the table. If the number keeps hitting I'm doing great and cost me nothing. No?

This strategy goes under the general label of Can't Lose. It pays about a percentage point in expected loss to dampen variance and stabilize playing time. Just out of curiosity, since you're trying to go behind through the DC with $30 why not buy/place the point for $24/$25 to guarantee a profit instead of settling for a push when the point misses?

The cost comes when you 7/11 the first roll. At $30 a pop, it adds up quite quickly, especially when they are strung together.

You're also not guaranteeing a win after the first roll like TMS suggested so more often than not, you will break even on the exchange.

If 7 out...how are we even? Am I missing something?
Another thing, how often does a number hit 4 times?
Any approach can be picked apart.
But you're on to something with the DC's
    A dandy choppy-table strat.
Tweak it as you go. Consider loading up your DC's around the 6 or 7th roll in the hand, to take advantage of that eventual downward bell-curve trajectory. Timing is everything.
    Have fun with it.
    Good luck.

The suggestion is $30 DC, then place the next number for same amount.

The suggestion is a $30 dc on the 5 & a $30 place bet on the same 5. Right?
I don't believe the poster is clear about what happens to such a scenario at a 7 out.

Hey Scott welcome to the forum Im a little confused about your same bet  you have a 30 dc on the five and a 30 place bet on the five...you are 60 dollars out of your pocket if the 5 hits you win 42 dollars and if you same bet the five it stays up for 30 you are still 18 out of pocket  unless you come down on the first hit 30+42=72....you could then place the 5 again for 10 and the bet is paid for other wise if you same bet and next roll is 7 out you lose 18 dollars o_O

@The Comeback Kid, not sure where the confusion is but the DC on the 5 covers the loss on the place bet.

@yacraps, the "same bet" terminology is confusing. My interpretation is that he comes down on the 5, pocketing the $12 profit and starts the process again with a $30 DC. If that travels, he'll place it for an equal amount, if that box number hits again, he'll go down on the place and set up a $60 DC.

Cunningham's Law - if I'm wrong he'll be back to correct me.

It's funny...because when you hear us Yanks talk about it, it generally gets terrible responses. Never tried it myself. Is it an acquired taste?
