That's my problem. I've taken too many "shots" over the years!
confession? sounds more like to me hes just pissed off at himself for doing something that hed normally not do.
but if its a confession, say 4 hail marys and everything will be ok.
It is very hard to keep any sort of gambling discipline at he casinos! Big wins or losses can easily send what discipline you got going to the wayside and you find yourself regret your play-choices on the long drive home.
Indian Casinos video poker with a 98% return rate and a weak Players Club can be rough! The best I can find in Oregon is 98.9% Deuces wild, and in Washington State all the Video Poker there is Class 2, meaning the same thing as bingo or scratch-it tickets (no skill required to play).
How do you find these details about their gaming??
I open it on my phone when I am at the casino to check the paytables or to find a good casino when in Reno/Vegas.
Hard thing for me is when I win big early- If i went everyday it's easier to walk away but when that is your entertainment for the night and you are done in 20 minutes , not so easy.
Have to set a new stop limit, try to walk away with some money
Yeah WA state sucks for gambling- go to Richmond BC Canada area , they have a few good ones there, and you can sports bet at the lotto locations, lines are terrible though
Ill give Frank Scoblete a nod in part, in that 99% of what he writes about is slowing down the betting, betting with in your budget, and being able to enjoy your allotted time at the casino.
Easy to say, but hard to do! I had to set a firm budget for myself and have a plan of my play before I enter the casino, including win/loss exit. That helped tremendously!
Finding non-gambling things to do at the casino or at near by locations is really essential. You simply cannot gamble the whole time you are at the casino or in a casino city on vacation.
The Seven Feathers in Oregon use to have a few progressive machines that could get into the "time to play" mode. But last time through, I don't remember seeing them there. I like the craps table and crews there, lower limits, and a good game. One of my favorite stops on the trips between San Diego and Portland, they have an RV park, and I always feel "welcome" there.
An update from Video Accessories Inc. They are still working on reducing the mass of the anti-magnetic foil, announced in http://www.crapsforum.com/threads/stopped-by-the-casino-this-morning.9814/#post-69138 and further described in Post #13 of that thread, so that it can be worn by humans who are not professional weight lifters. In the interim, however, they have modified the formula of the coating so that it can be applied directly to the player's face, thereby providing almost the same level of protection from the casino's behavior modification efforts.
The good news is that it is 99.44% effective against Dumb Shit Spray (not to mention +2 with vorpal swords), making it Only-Slightly-Less-Intelligent Shit Spray. The bad news is that it has a very distinctive color and texture. The company therefore recommends it be used with a Wizard of Oz tin man suit so as not to attract attention.
