One of the great misconceptions that people seem to have is that you have to lay down very large bets initially to win big , such is not the case
I have won some OBSCENE amounts of money with the $42 DOWNSTROKE .
There are many people who have higher percentage of wins over losses , The reason so many people find that hard to believe
is because those things are outside their field of experience . If you believe what most of the people on this board say , you would come to the conclusion that
it is difficult to impossible be net positive

It depends on what you mean by wins every time , A person with better betting strategy can increase their wins ratio by
    eliminating the other players
Remember to come out net positive is not merely a matter of knowing how to and being able to win , you must also know how "NOT TO LOSE"

To come out net positive you must win money but you also must not lose money
While typing this post I got a text message from one of the Mesa guys , he said he won $500 but lost $200 back
Guess how he lost the $200 , YEP , "BOOP"
People who do not believe very often have little or no information on the subject
People will walk into a casino , stand and watch some guy setting dice , throw 5 or 6 times and 7 out an assume he is a DI
If he has not trained the likelihood he is not a DI he is probably trying to be a DI thru trial and error and we all know what that is

You mentioned flipping coins , there is a way to influence the outcome there too

Tossing dice is random unless you introduce an influence
One must understand that the success in DI is much like business , The ones that do the work are the ones who DESERVE TO WIN
One of the guys on this forum shortly after I joined made a rather direct statement, he said

"I don't believe DI is possible and even if it was I wouldn't bother to learn
and if I did learn , I certainly wouldn't spend any time practicing"

Sometimes they allow more and sometimes some will squeeze in
On some of the 12 foot tables they will have 14 spots marked for fire bets , 14 players
the dealers would ask people to allow another player in
But to simplify what I was talking about , if there were 5 other players , I would still not wait for the dice to come back around
I have been the only person on the table , 7 out after 10 throws and walk even then
I have seen some players who appeared to be really good players , win a bunch of money and then lose it back
because they stayed on the table too long. One good rule , "WHEN IT'S OVER , IT'S OVER" I would like to credit someone with that point
but I don't recall who it was
The same guy who said that also said , "Jimmy when ,YOU , lose It's not because of the house edge It's because you stray from the rules of the strategy"
Oh I remember SYDNEY said those things , over and over and over
He also said gambling is an effort to predict the future , betting on numbers that will appear
and the best way to predict the future is , "TO CREATE IT"

Good move SIR, use your "time-outs" wisely. If push comes to shove, I'll fake an injury.. They can't live forever.

That is very touching SIR. I think it would be nice, if you would start referring to Ms Pee, as "DUMPLIN". :D.

    For the record -

I have played quite extensively in AC prior to coming out West -

The Fire Bet layout has either 14 or 16 spots depending if its' a 12' table or a 14' table -

On MORE than ONE occasion -

I have witnessed the Box Man restrict the number of players to LESS THAN the AVAILABLE FIRE BET positions -

There was / is NO WAY - that MORE THAN 7 players on each side of a 12' foot table -

OR - 8 players on each side of a 14' table would be ALLOWED !

Again - THIS is in AC -

Their rules are more strict than elsewhere, apparently !

It was " Yogi Berra" from Montclair, NJ / the NY Yankees catcher - who stated - " It ain't over - till its' over " -

    OR - something similar -

    Just another " Yogi-ism " !

    $...eE..$

Yogi also said , "If you don't decide where you want to go , you may not get there"
One time he was having a party at his country home , he sent instructions to all his invited guests , how to get to his house
The instructions said , "Go out the main highway 6 miles , you will come to a dirt road , turn right for three miles
you will come to a fork in the road , take it , it takes you to the house.
