Might be fun. We need fun. Please participate.

    Alphabetically:

    Advancements in Medicine
    Computerization
    JFK Assassination
    Moon Landing/ Space Exploration
    9/11

Coronavirus will crack the top 5 in all likelihood. If it does, I don't know what comes off the list.

in years to come, while the economy is tanking, if the records show the proposal that shumer and Pelosi are refusing because they actually are trying to pass an emissions bill for airlines and tax credits for solar and wind, it will be the saddest thing democrats ever did, and will be frowned upon for the next 1000 years.
and if its true, fuck shumer and Pelosi,
I just watched the two parties and their comments and I was sitting there in amazement that they cannot come up with a proposal to save americans lives and livelihoods.

our govt is not working. and for some reason I have a strong feeling its being done just to spite the president since he won the impeachment and everything else the democrats threw at him.

I did notice shumer didn't address the accusations of trying to squeeze in some green bill stuff.
so if he didn't deny it, Im guessing it must be true. why on earth would that be an issue right now?

    Great minds........and all that shit.

I admit that I had to look up Nate Colbert. He hit 5 HRs and had 13 RBIs during a doubleheader in 1972, tying one of my heroes, Stan Musial for the HR record and beating the RBI record by 2.

If we ever meet in LV, you can tell me about Laura. What happens in.......

One track mind? Reminds me of the joke which has a punchline "you're the one showing the dirty pictures." I'm sure that you've heard it.

I might take out advancements in medicine because its a never ending advancement, not only in my lifetime, but lifetimes before me and long after Im gone.

Id put the Vietnam war, there instead of medicine as an historical event. I was alive from the beginning of our involvement in the war, was down at the draftboard in my underwear getting medical clearance, in Jamaica NY, the draft ended, still had to register. a few of my friends lost family members there and a one or two we knew who came back were never the same.
it was a pretty dramatic event in history while I was alive.

4 dead in Ohio. I live 15-20 miles west of Kent State. 50th anniversary coming in May. How can you postpone a 50th anniversary? I was in college in Maryland when that went down.

    Woodstock, huh?

The picture of that girl kneeling over one of the victims, with that expression of complete despair, is etched in my mind forever. None of the victims, was part of the protest. A tragic event, with an iconic photo.

the niece who is a nurse, is fine, shes working her butt off. my other niece, up here in the northeast, works in admitting in emergency room, she is still quarantined at home, feeling good, but doing the last days of the quarantine, she was never tested. don't know why.
my bil works at the airport, hes been home ill for 2 days, was thinking about going back tomorrow, but tonight he has a fever over 100. Hes stubborn, Im going to wake up my sisterinlaw at 3 am tonight and make her take his temp again, if its going up and hes complaining about trouble breathing, Im going to insist he contacts doctor or emergency room, hed lay there till hes dead, he hates going to doctors.
