Another trick I've discovered from this is by knowing what the top primary number you roll most consistently will also give you the opportunity to "Customize the dice set" to suit your rolling style to roll what ever number you desire.

    For example:
Utilizing my rolling style using the 6'3 hard way set my primary number is 5-4 as a result of the roll from having 6-6 up, 3-3 on the thumb, 2-2 to the right.

If I am rolling for a 5, I can simply replace the dice outcome number with the number I would like to roll. In this case I would use any of the following:

    a) turn my left die from 6'3 to 6'4 giving me a 2 on top as a result
    b) turn my right die from 6'3 to 6'4 giving me a 3 on top as a result
    or
    c) turn my left die from 6'3 to 6'2 giving me a 3 on top as a result
    d) turn my right die from 6'3 to 6'5 giving me a 2 on top as a result
    or
    e) turn my left die from 6'3 to 6'5 giving me a 4 on top as a result
    f) turn my right die from 6'3 to 2'6 giving me a 1 on top as a result
    or
    g) turn my left die from 6'3 to 5'3 giving me a 1 on top as a result
    h) turn my right die from 6'3 to 6'3 giving me a 4 on top as a result
