They won't tell their neighbors the truth, but in the privacy of the voting booth, they will do the right thing and pull the lever for Donald J. Trump.

They want to keep America great too.

edit: they also need to get the House of Reps back in Republican hands

Whether the right thing or not....there is likely a lot of truth in that and that was also one of the reasons that the polling got it so wrong in 2016.

I suspect you might see the same in 2020. As far as the next election goes....I would put very little faith in polling data.....from anyone, conservative leaning polls or liberal leaning polls.

They got it so wrong last time and I really haven't heard anything about changes made to the polling system. The day after the election, they all conceded that polling models had to be entirely restructured. Have they been? I haven't heard that even though I see new polls just about every week

Yeah, I don't understand the polling. Right now they have every democrat beating Trump. Is that possible?

Left leaning polling outfits tilt it toward their candidates, Right leaning to theirs. I guess it is done to try and dampen enthusiasm on the other side.

They say the polls get more accurate as the election gets closer; but I don't think that happened for the presidential election in 2016.

IN term of the polls in 2016, the people just could nto bring themselves to vote for
Hillary Clinton in states that were close to 50/50 between liberal and conservative. Most of
those people saw themselves as fairly decent people and they thought Clinton was corrupt
    so they took Trump.

This year is exactly the same, those same people in Ohio, Wisconsin Penn. Michigan
see Trump as an immoral jerk... and to prove they are fairly decent people they are
not going to vote for him. Most of the Rep congressman that have retired this year
did so as a protest against that kind of Trump. They dont want themselves as human
    being tied to him...

Now 777 makes the case all of that is stupid... we vote for what is right for the country...I
happen to agree with that, I also know that is not what happens in the real life. Obama won not
because he was good for the country, he won because many of the people that voted for him said to
    themselves...see I am not racist.

Human being dont always do the logical thing.... and yes Trump is miles behind.

They may not like his language, but they love lower taxes, they love the value of their home has gone up, the love the low unemployment numbers, they love hourly wages have risen, they love their IRA and 491k’s have gone up, they love low energy priceS. They can kiss that all goodbye if a Warren, Sanders or any of the other Dem Socialists become POTUS.

Trump has hit a spot in peoples brains where they are blinded by their hatred for him.....I mean deep, deep hate coming from their inner core.....,it colors everything.....they would sacrifice their first born to destroy the man.....this is what he is up against......all that stuff you mention don't mean shit to these people........their hate for the man will temporarily block out that stuff you mention in the few seconds in the voting booth......they would vote for the devil rather than him............you are talking as if people are reasonable and rational.....they ain't.

Everything you said is correct, but then everything Obama did was socialistic and
very bad for the country...….he cut down small business people saying all their efforts
meant nothing.....he did everything he could to fight oil production in North Dakota and
west TExas, he went after Americans with the IRS, he put in socialized medicine, he
tried to get gas to $7 a gallon to destroy the production of trucks... and he was anti police, making
    all black americans hate cops......

    And YET he won !!!!!!!!

Trump needs to seek votes to win next year, he cant say screw you, I already have enough no
matter what the polls say...…. this silly idea that Trump cant lose is dangerous...look at what
you just said......that is a very real possibility

It's not trumps language, or his content, that is the problem, it is his delivery. If you cannot obtain then votes, then it doesn't matter what your policies are. He might be able to win, if no one new emerges. The dems, have the weakest field I've ever seen.
And by the way, blacks hated cops long before obama came along,

I see trump is about to "cave" on the Chinese tariffs, which should help him get a few more Asian votes, but hurt him with the "testical" vote. :)

Why would he? I think the problem is with Iran. I'm not sure what the best move is here. Pretty complicated situation, if we do this, they do that. If we go one way, the ruskies go the other, same ole, same ole. I think about a dozen, well placed bullets, might solve most of the problem. I think his last security adviser was right, he doesn't have the balls to take on these "dick-taters", and apparently, they know it. You've been duped man!

I meant Iran................it's not complicated at all......if somebody hits you....what do you do...talk........reduce it down to one on one people......the coward will continue to be punished.....if there is no retaliation and I mean strong retaliation....you will continue to be hit because there is no reason for the agressor to stop.......it's really, really simple....if you know I will cut your nuts off if you hit me or even think of hitting me....you will not hit me.......does this make sense ?.............the strike must be one that costs them....heavily...........the problem is sleeper cells in this country.....but if that occurs they are toast.......if Trump does nothing or something soft, I will be disappointed......it will probably happen after the UN meeting......this attack cannot , not be responded to......what must they do for you to respond back heavily, militarily.,...what .....there is a price for everything.....sometimes the price is heavy......what's freedom and justice and liberty worth ?............I always liked Nick

First of all, they did not attack "US" they attacked Saudi Arabia, who is no fucking ally of ours. The real question is, "what is Saudi Arabia going to do about it"? They have enough money to provide their own defense, and if they choose not to defend themselves, I say, tough shit then. For all I know, they did this to themselves, to get us to go fight Iran, so they will quit getting their asses kicked by Iran, in Yemen. If they, (the saudi's) do nothing, then we should do nothing. I do not believe we should send our guy's over their to get their balls blown off, to defend "The Kingdom". :confused:But now, if you want to take your gun over there, and shoot some Iranians, I think we could provide you, transportation. :) Hell, take trips son in law with you, he looks like he could use some exercise. The KINGS ASS!

So you think the Saudi oil supply does not affect global and hence United States economics ......that the effect of that bombing was inconsequential........a barrel of oil went up 10% that day..........you think this does not affect you........you dumb fuck.

I said the attack was on the Saudi's, and it is for them to respond. We, (as a country) have been well aware, for over 45 years, of the instability of Arab oil, (oil embargo 1973) The only remedy, is to remove the need. If we would spend the money to find alternatives to oil, where practical, instead of a moronic manned mission to Mars, maybe we could solve this problem. You've never seen a war, you didn't like, have you?

I hate war.....but sometimes you have to go to war and die to protect the values we hold dear.....you'd be talking german if we didn't enter that conflict. If you are afraid to stand up and fight for what you hold dear and our national interests, you are a coward and not the type of person I want leading me.......you are the type of person that will avoid war at all costs but are happy to take shelter under the cloak of a soldier when after he kicks ass......you are exactly the type I don't want beside me.

Sometimes you have to die pal......it's just the way it is.
