Well.....I am able to travel once again. Wife decided that she wanted to visit Tunica. She found a Great deal at Sam's Town. $77 for a three day stay.

The rooms were great for the price that we paid. No complaints, with the exception that they no longer provide irons in the room, because of thievery in the past.

Seems that some losers decided to steal two T.V.'s, & towels from the rooms ( Imagine that?).

Regarding the Casino.....Absolutely hated it!!! Craps tables were a Hard, Neutral bounce, but the dice ( Red dice) were absolutely BRUTAL!!! It was literally impossible to get past 5 rolls without a Seven Out.

Coldest table that I have EVER played on. So many " Point Seven-outs"! I recall that on Heavy's forum, many players claimed that they did exceptionally well at Sam's Town, but received quite a bit of " heat"!

Well....." Heat" was non-existent, because no one ever got past five rolls of the dice.

Lost $38, & NEVER played at Sam's Town for the remainder of my stay. My TOTAL playing time at Sam's Town was 30 minutes.

Hollywood Casino......A Grave yard. The Craps table wasn't even open for play. Hollywood " bought-out" Resorts ( which was right next door), & the old Resorts building is just sitting there COMPLETELY empty.

What a shame!! You'd think that maybe Hollywood would have expanded their operation, & added the old Resorts building as an Annex.

Personally, from what I witnessed.....I just don't see how Hollywood is gonna survive.....UNLESS they have ENORMOUS crowds during the weekends. Seems that Sam's Town, & Hollywood will be the next two Casinos to " hit the dirt" in the near future!!

Horseshoe Casino.......Nice crowd ( as usual), but THIS TRIP.....devoid of the " Finger Snappers", & Prop Bettors. ( Hooray). Three regular Craps tables in operation, along with one Crapless table. I had mixed results at Horseshoe (left only a TAD bit ahead).

It was truly sad to see that Road house has ceased operations, & is now only a Hotel.

Gold Strike Casino.....THE PLACE TO BE!!!! Excellent crowd, with two regular tables in Action, along with one Crapless table in Action.

One of the regular Craps tables was EXTREMELY bouncy, ( maybe cork, or closed cell foam underneath the layout?) with the other regular table being just a TAD bit bouncy.

Crapless table was only slightly bouncy. I had my best results at the Crapless table, coloring up with a $4,823 win.

Some guy " Caught fire" on the Crapless, & rolled for almost 40 minutes. WHAT A TREAT!!!

Nope.....NOT a Dice Influencer.....just a regular guy that just picked em up, & tossed them. The guy was a Huge bettor ( starting with $100 on every number), & wasn't bashful about pressing to the moon. At one point, he had his 5, & 9 pressed to $900, & had his extremes pressed up to $400.

Well......when the roll was " DONE", he cashed out with $16, 345. Another guy cashed out with a little over $8,000.
The sweet part is that there was only five players at the table, & the game went relatively fast UNTIL the wagers reached the $300- $500 Mark.

Very professional, & courteous dealers at Gold Strike, & it was quite refreshing to actually see the Pit Boss rooting for the shooter.

The wife started feeling a bit sick during the last day of the trip ( we were there from Sunday through Tuesday, checking out at 11A.M. on Wednesday). We ended up having a meal at the Sports Bar at Horseshoe, & my wife started getting sick immediately afterwards.

JB's restaurant at Horseshoe had excellent food, & I highly recommend it if you want to dine at Horseshoe.

Tunica....a wonderful gambling venue, but in my opinion ....Horseshoe, & Gold Strike will be the only lone survivors.

What a wonderful trip for Old Top....$$$$$ Cha- Ching!!!!

Heh Kokomo.....Regarding Linaway's material......It was much easier for me to gauge Axial Arrays's from Table-end, looking down on top of the dice as they were being tossed to MY end of the table.

That's what worked for ME!! Trying to gauge Axial Arrays from my own tosses, or trying to gauge other shooter's tosses that were tossed to the opposite end of the table did NOT work for me. ( Couldnt gauge quickly enough) Seems that the dice were always swept away by the Stickman before I could gauge the Axial Arrays.

I would LOVE to blame it on the Stickman swooping the dice away too quickly, but In reality.....it was probably my brain NOT gauging quickly enough, so I ended up only gauging Axial Arrays that came to MY end of the table.

With a $4800 winner, you were probably pressing them up a bit yourself Top. Good going!

What was happening during the run at crapless?

Instead of remembering two faces on each die, remember what seven is missing from the face you don't see, less to remember, and you get what you're looking for.

Sounds like you had a fun trip Top. Now that Southland Park has table games it will probably reduce the table game crowd in Tunica.

$64K question. Did you make an betting changes solely because of what you saw on the previous roll?

Yep....I did quite a bit of pressing. Started the hand betting $30 per number Across the board with a $10 passline, & $30 odds. What really helped was the MANY 3's, & 11's that were tossed ( they pay 3:1) along with the 2's, & 12's ( pay 6:1).

I became very aggressive after roll number 10. Had all of my initial investment racked, & was playing on Casino money. I left quite a bit on the table after the Seven Out.

I remember having my 3, & 11 up to $240, & the 2, & 12 up to $200. Regarding the " missing 7's to determine axial Arrays.....yep, I do it JUST AS you suggested, but still a slow process for the brain, ESPECIALLY when the shooters fling em down the table, & the dice end up 20 inches apart from each other. Ya gotta gauge very quickly when THAT happens, & unfortunately THAT seemed to be the norm.

I have NEVER witnessed such a good hand with the dice being tossed so wildly, but......I'll gladly accept the favorable results!!!!

Yes I did!! When the dice CONTINUED to land in axial arrays containing only two 7's, I pressed very aggressively. I was on pins, & needles when the dice landed in heavy 7's sets, but I did NOT want to disrupt the shooter's rhythm by calling my bets off, & on due to the Axial arrays that I witnessed.( Very few heavy 7's axial arrays)

I just kinda went with the flow of the shooter REGARDLESS of what the dice displayed!!! I was in the hook with the dice being tossed DIRECTLY in front of me during the Monster roll. The roll ended in a Crossed 6's Axial array ( safe array containing only two 7's). I kinda figured the roll would end in a Heavy 7's axial array!!!

    Life is good!!!!

One last note.....I usually call my bets " off" after witnessing consecutive heavy 7's arrays......if there was not so much money being wagered, I WOULD have disrupted the flow by calling my bets off. There were literally MOUNDS of chips on the tables, & the dealers were some REAL " Pros" at getting those dice Quickly back into the hands of the shooter. No long waiting periods on pay-outs. Very professional, & knowledgeable dealers!!!!

A very wise decision for me to just " shut the fu**k up" , & weather the storm. Glad that I did!!!

Not pressing or not pressing as much on results you felt weren't safe is an excellent option that doesn't disrupt the game flow.

    Nice win!

Oops.....forgot to report on Fitgerald's. Only one table going. They got rid of the All Tall Small bet. I actually liked the table, & won a small amount of $$$ there.

They ended up escorting a guy out of the Casino for not hitting the back wall after being REPEATEDLY warned for NOT hitting the back wall. The guy was in the middle of his roll, & the dealer pushed the dice to the next shooter.

The shooter asked: what the fuck are you doing? Stickman LOUDLY said: " You're done shooting". Well.....all HELL broke loose, & the shooter called the Stickman a " Bitch-ass, Pussy-Ass Mother'f**ker, & told him that he would beat his Ass if he uttered another word.......SECURITY!!!!!! Lol

They quickly escorted his Ass out of the Casino.

We had a nice old guy at the table ( Vietnam Veteran) that kept the table in stitches. The guy said that his wife called him, & told him to come home, because she wanted to have sex. He told her: " Go ahead, & start without me". Lol

Then the guy says his wife wanted twelve inches, & she wanted it to hurt. The guy said that he fu**ked her three times, & hit her in the mouth, & that she didn't have any more problems. Lol

Entertaining guy with a good sense of humor.

Those shake, rattle and rollers will get on a long roll at times. Wonderful to hear you had a nice win. Savor the win...they ain't easy.
3 days in, 3 days out....and get out of Dodge. See them again in a couple or few months. Probably the best way to approach this game rather than the grinders or regulars.

top-you were luckier than me, several of the casinos we walked into in tunica didn't have any action of the dice table.
fitz had I believe one 5 dollar bettor.

everyone is a random shooter, glad you discovered the right place at the right time

Atlanta is a really BIG CITY, so which is closer would be a matter of which side of town Top lives on. I think he's on the North side, so Tunica is most likely closer, and he DID catch a nice "score" there, so why fix what ain't "broke"? Pardon the pun. :)
