Well.....I am able to travel once again. Wife decided that she wanted to visit Tunica. She found a Great deal at Sam's Town. $77 for a three day stay. The rooms were great for the price that we paid. No complaints, with the exception that they no longer provide irons in the room, because of thievery in the past. Seems that some losers decided to steal two T.V.'s, & towels from the rooms ( Imagine that?). Regarding the Casino.....Absolutely hated it!!! Craps tables were a Hard, Neutral bounce, but the dice ( Red dice) were absolutely BRUTAL!!! It was literally impossible to get past 5 rolls without a Seven Out. Coldest table that I have EVER played on. So many " Point Seven-outs"! I recall that on Heavy's forum, many players claimed that they did exceptionally well at Sam's Town, but received quite a bit of " heat"! Well....." Heat" was non-existent, because no one ever got past five rolls of the dice. Lost $38, & NEVER played at Sam's Town for the remainder of my stay. My TOTAL playing time at Sam's Town was 30 minutes. Hollywood Casino......A Grave yard. The Craps table wasn't even open for play. Hollywood " bought-out" Resorts ( which was right next door), & the old Resorts building is just sitting there COMPLETELY empty. What a shame!! You'd think that maybe Hollywood would have expanded their operation, & added the old Resorts building as an Annex. Personally, from what I witnessed.....I just don't see how Hollywood is gonna survive.....UNLESS they have ENORMOUS crowds during the weekends. Seems that Sam's Town, & Hollywood will be the next two Casinos to " hit the dirt" in the near future!! Horseshoe Casino.......Nice crowd ( as usual), but THIS TRIP.....devoid of the " Finger Snappers", & Prop Bettors. ( Hooray). Three regular Craps tables in operation, along with one Crapless table. I had mixed results at Horseshoe (left only a TAD bit ahead). It was truly sad to see that Road house has ceased operations, & is now only a Hotel. Gold Strike Casino.....THE PLACE TO BE!!!! Excellent crowd, with two regular tables in Action, along with one Crapless table in Action. One of the regular Craps tables was EXTREMELY bouncy, ( maybe cork, or closed cell foam underneath the layout?) with the other regular table being just a TAD bit bouncy. Crapless table was only slightly bouncy. I had my best results at the Crapless table, coloring up with a $4,823 win. Some guy " Caught fire" on the Crapless, & rolled for almost 40 minutes. WHAT A TREAT!!! Nope.....NOT a Dice Influencer.....just a regular guy that just picked em up, & tossed them. The guy was a Huge bettor ( starting with $100 on every number), & wasn't bashful about pressing to the moon. At one point, he had his 5, & 9 pressed to $900, & had his extremes pressed up to $400. Well......when the roll was " DONE", he cashed out with $16, 345. Another guy cashed out with a little over $8,000. The sweet part is that there was only five players at the table, & the game went relatively fast UNTIL the wagers reached the $300- $500 Mark. Very professional, & courteous dealers at Gold Strike, & it was quite refreshing to actually see the Pit Boss rooting for the shooter. The wife started feeling a bit sick during the last day of the trip ( we were there from Sunday through Tuesday, checking out at 11A.M. on Wednesday). We ended up having a meal at the Sports Bar at Horseshoe, & my wife started getting sick immediately afterwards. JB's restaurant at Horseshoe had excellent food, & I highly recommend it if you want to dine at Horseshoe. Tunica....a wonderful gambling venue, but in my opinion ....Horseshoe, & Gold Strike will be the only lone survivors. What a wonderful trip for Old Top....$$$$$ Cha- Ching!!!! Heh Kokomo.....Regarding Linaway's material......It was much easier for me to gauge Axial Arrays's from Table-end, looking down on top of the dice as they were being tossed to MY end of the table. That's what worked for ME!! Trying to gauge Axial Arrays from my own tosses, or trying to gauge other shooter's tosses that were tossed to the opposite end of the table did NOT work for me. ( Couldnt gauge quickly enough) Seems that the dice were always swept away by the Stickman before I could gauge the Axial Arrays. I would LOVE to blame it on the Stickman swooping the dice away too quickly, but In reality.....it was probably my brain NOT gauging quickly enough, so I ended up only gauging Axial Arrays that came to MY end of the table.
