    Hello my fellow Craps Brothers,

I went back to my now favorite underground Craps location on the West Coast near the Ocean. It was Saturday night and the place was a hopping.

I am now a "regular" since they have seen me twice before and I am in the Red by about $101.

There were 40 people crammed into a two car garage. Two big screen TV's working; One is a music voice station and the other is Sports Center. No, they don't allow Sports betting. Beer is $1. So let me tell you what is new.

    1. Waitresses - the kind that wear bikini tops and v cut bottoms. The owners are now serving nacho's, chips with Guac, hotdogs, and sandwiches; all reasonably priced.
    2. Maximum payout has been lifted to $500/person/roll.
    3. Three long couches and chairs installed with ashtrays. (one guy had a hole in his mask so he could smoke).
    4. They sell masks for $1 and gloves for $1.
    5. There were two idiots. When one was rolling, the other made huge don't pass bets. And when they switched, the other guy made huge don't pass bets. and yes, it seemed they were breaking even during the 3 hours I was there.
    6. There was some nervous talk about Vice raids, but the police have better things to do in this town and the city council is thinking about defunding them.
    7. I bought in for $200 when one of the idiots was throwing; won just over $100; quit, cashed out, stuck around for an hour, went home.
    8. All in all a boring night; I saw a few lose a few $k and some lucky horn player hit the $500 limit on a wild horn bet. Aren't the dealers supposed to tell you that you are exceeding the table limit? wtf?
    9. I slept well; dreaming about the dead fish smell that my wife said I came home with...
    10. WTF, she looked clean in the closet!

I believe that is true...in a licensed casino. I make that statement based on hearing a dealer tell a player, "I can't book it if I can't pay it." I recall only one time when a bet over the limit got by a dealer (and an experienced one at that). It was a Don't bet that won and the dealer noticed the overage when he paid it. The player was a little put out (and rightly so IMHO) and asked what would have happened had he lost. We'll never know.

OK, I lied, sort of, for I heard about this incident second hand. Bonanza, Fallon, NV, blackjack, $50 limit (which should tell you how big Fallon is). Player had lost several $100 bets, but when he finally won one the dealer was going to pay him only $50. The table went postal. To avoid a riot the pit suit sanctioned a $100 payoff, adding a caveat that the limit would be observed henceforth. I doubt anybody was completely satisfied -- no refund was given for prior losses -- but the dealer survived the incident.

The Garage was probably someones home. Common in that part of the country. Sounds like my old neighborhood parties in the sixties but we played on dark concrete floor in a corner of the basement.

I hope to be setting some parties with some money involved as well. Nothing like the outfit that place has but with some buddies and either start off with dollar games or they throw in money for a pit and most chips win. Of course the dealer (me) gets paid some of that pot money. Just waiting for the covid to calm down a bit before i start the parties. Great story bro
