Had a guy come into the office as an emergency yesterday who told me he works craps, baccarat and blackjack tables at the Rivers. Although I am not playing much in the past 8-10 months, I am a long time regular and had not until yesterday ever seen this guy. After checking him out, asked him what he thought of the dice controllers. He shook his head, let out a laugh and said, "I can't believe that there are people out there who pay someone to teach them how to win at gambling." He went on to tell me that the crew will often laugh among themselves at the guys who take forever to set, grip and toss the dice and even more so at the guys with notebooks writing down all the results they see. Not that one person's opinion means anything, but I got a kick out of the conversation. Told this guy I would look for him over the weekend, and hoped to take a bunch of chips from him.
