I'll agree with that assessment, although your figure could be in error! It might very well be 85% of the time.

More players are switching over to the Donts these days!

Von Duck so learning to throw a consistant shot
or learning to pay attention to the cards played is not
    ethical ?????

I have spent quite some time going over the different
don't systems on the net and looking at some of my
data to see which ones or combination of them would
    seem to work well.

I bet my shot differently, but I would like to see if some
system or combined parts of different systems offer me
a decent way to make money when I am not throwing, or
when I am playing on a table that I don't want to throw on.

I have had some interesting results so far on my table, but
I wont try them at a real casino until I get to Laughlin Sept
    8

I try not to complicate things. For myself, it's one Don't bet on the shooter before me, & that's THAT!
This should not be a problem, because I will not play on a table with more than three other players.....MAX!

I just wanna get my 1-2 turns with the dice, & color up. This method of play is how I practice at home, & it works well for me. This is why I am always posting my "flee to the Cage" posts. Ya gotta do what works for YOU, & NOT worry about others saying things like "it doesn't matter if ya quit early, or not"! YOU create your OWN reality, regardless of what others say.

Don't set the dice, because it's bullshit", etc. Don't absorb the negativity. If something is working for ya, continue to do it until it stops working.

If I go to a table, & toss a 25 roll hand, & say I influence the dice......Do ya think I REALLY care if someone says "it's still random"?

You SHOULD be very adept at "putting the blinders on", tuning out others, etc. You've competed in different crafts, games, sports, etc, so you can relate to what I am saying.

When it come to "ignoring others, not giving a shit about other's opinions, etc.......I am World-class in THAT arena. Do ya know how many times I have been "sharked" ( when a opponent does silly shit such as PURPOSELY dropping their pool cue as you're about to pocket a shot), or to sneeze, or cough loudly as youre about to pocket to release your shot? COUNTLESS times! Anything to rattle ya....Take ya out of your comfort zone!

It's my opinion that the Champions, those that excel in a given sport, craft, are absolutely "Rattle Proof"! Nothing affects them whilst striving to accomplish a task.

Not threats, opinions, or Shenanigans! They just keep on going just like a Duracell battery!

Didn't mean to go off on a tangent, because your response was in regards to "Dont Play"!

Just thought I'd add a little extra to this post to tell ya.........If ya learn to please YOURSELF.......life's a blast.
Take those words of wisdom, from a two time loser that defied all odds.
    Continued success at the tables!

Congrats on your Success! Ya might wanna savor in your victory by NOT posting Trip Reports or pictures.

Posting wins, pictures of winnings will only start a Riot! Lol.

The trip reports that seem to be the most appreciated on this board are the ones that offer
a balanced result , one where a guy is struggling for several days and finishes his trip
    just a few dollars down
The story of the underdog coming from 40 points down in a game to tie it up with 4 seconds to spare
or the craps player who is $50 down and gets it all back 36 minutes before time to board the plane
are the kind of story that play well here

Who says that. It masy be a negative expectation game doesn't means u expect to lose. And really whether you are expecting to win or lose doesn't mean a thing really. The dice don't know what your expectations are.

As far as I'm concerned, anything you can do to beat the casino, is fine. Card counting should not effect the other players, in a negative way. If though, you are throwing the dice in such a way, that other betters might not be getting the same odds that they would expect, then you move into a grey area, that could be considered unethical. If, on the other hand, you give these don't bettors, fair warning of your DI skills, then maybe, your OK, ethically speaking. This is pretty good fuel for debate, and perhaps a new thread, dedicated to the " ETHICAL RAMIFICATIONS OF D.I."

Who? There isn't a game in there that is positive expectation game. But I really don't know of anyone that goes to a casino expecting to lose on this forum. Most of the guys on here like to twist people's words around. And that I believe what this is.

When people I know bet the don't when I am shooting I do tell them I'm gonna try and make you lose. A guy I chat with at the craps table plays the donts at times and the other week lost about 2k on my roll. It wasn't like me against him. He plays what the dice are doing. If the table is bad he will play the donts.

With this statement, I was referring to the DICE. They know what you want them to do, but they don't give a shit.:D
Believe me when I tell you, you're better off shooting, when there is heavy action on the don't.:D:cool:

If my goal was playing craps to earn a living i would probably use a dont strategy the majority of the time. But i have seen dont players get hammered a bunch of times and burned a few guys I know playing the donts. Then again I have also made those don't players good money as well. I have seen dont players make money on long rolls to but too much as to fall into place for that to happen.

Ok Parker , Leon and I walked up to a table , there was a gal 25 or so standing just right of stick , Parker took left of stick and I told the lady
I would give her $20 if she would move down one space she did so , her boyfriend was just the other side of Parker

I bought in and immediately got the dice . the lady asked if she should bet the way I do , the box man gave a little chuckle , I put $5 on the pass line She started to bet that I told her no she asked why
I said that bet sucks I then explained why To make a long story shorter we had a good run made a bunch of money , her boy friend was doing what we were also

We left . Later we went to eat , here came the lady and her husband and 4 or 5 other people
as it turned out , they had gotten married earlier in the day As she approached our table she said granddad those are the men I told you about
I jumped out of my chair and grabbed grandpa and gave him a big hug , she said oh "my gawd , oh my gawd" . She thought we were going to fight
granddad was a guy that Parker , Leon and I had gone to school with from first grade on . We saw him for the first time since 1958 in 2008
at our 50 year high school class reunion . We spent most of that evening telling war stories and catching up . I told Dorey that I asked her grandmother to go out
With me at least a hundred times while we were in school and she never went out with me , her grand mother told her she went out with me a lot
till she met her grandfather . What are the odds ?
