KokomoJoe4, did you have to call the wife to come with her car for what wouldn't fit in the trunk of your car?
Hopefully he didn't call a taxi for a ride home and get long-hauled via the PA Turnpike & Harrisburg. I hear cab drivers do that on occasion in those big gamblin' towns like Pittsburgh.
Dammit, Never made it in this weekend. Day was scheduled to end at 12:30 on Fri, but had emergencies & walk-ins and didn't finish up until 3:00. Too much traffic with construction if I wouldn't get out of the casino until 4:30 or 5:00, so no go. Was going to go in after dinner on Sat, but they were shutting down a lot of the city for the marathon and wasn't sure if I could get in. I kind of like LID's wheel barrel better for the money than the suitcases Twelve 4's is providing.
I wish there was a "group" of knowledgeable women to play with. I am usually the only female or maybe 1 other. Especially any that are under 30 and actually know the game. Any women players at mohegan or foxwoods???
Yes! Dave would be a likely candidate! Lol. Just kidding, Dave! RELAX, Dave......Don't get your panties all in a Wad! Lol
Last time I was in AC a women was SL1 and appeared to be setting the dice. She was very deliberate and intent setting up her toss. Her throw was the same every time, landing in the same spot every time. I don't know if she was influencing the dice outcome, but she had a big hand, at least 20 rolls, and I made a few bucks.
Funny how we're all looking for the same thing? A knowledgeable woman to PLAY WITH, after that we could head down to the craps table.
Next time you're at the tables, maybe you could ask the lady dealers if they know of some girl dice groups? Ya never know?
Well, when they said it, they sort of leaned to one side, and lifted their leg, all at the same time. It could be that they were passing gas, or something, but I got the impression, they wanted me to urinate.
Hey Luck2bALady! If you don't mind a little older (I'm now 35-in my mind I'm a solid 23) I can let you know if my wife and I ever head down to Mohegan or Foxwoods. Or if you ever want to head up to Maine, there is a great little casino (w/ 2 tables) about 45 minutes from Portland.
One thing for sure, you post this on a dominantly male craps forum, you will get some off color replies! You might try the WOV "Wizard of Odds" site....if Mustang Sally is still posting over there, maybe she could steer you in the right direction. She definitely has her act together when it comes the game of craps! I wish she was still posting here....but I think she gave up on us enumerates. Good luck!
Awesome, yea, let me know. I'm at Mohegan every other week or so. I have never been to Maine. Didn't know there was a casino up that way. But I do collect Casino chips from all the casino's I've been to, (71) and would love to add another to my list!
I also collect chips ($1) from every casino I visit. I'll probably head up your way in 2019 or so for a casino road trip after Wynn Boston Harbor opens. By that time, MGM Springfield and Montreign should also be open. Rivers Mohawk Harbor is already open. Might even make it to Oxford Casino in Maine. And, of course, Foxwoods and Mohegan. Tioga Downs is probably too far out of the way. Have you collected a chip from any of the casinos in Chicagoland? You could add quite a few in a day or two, even though they are scattered across the 6 collar counties. Rivers (Des Plaines, near O'Hare International Airport) Grand Victoria (Elgin, IL) Hollywood Casino (Aurora, IL) Harrah's (Joliet, IL) Hollywood Casino (Joliet, IL) Horseshoe (Hammond, IN -- closest to downtown Chicago) Majestic Star (Buffington Harbor, IN) Ameristar (East Chicago, IN) 60-90 miles from Chicago: Blue Chip (Michigan City, IN) Four Winds (New Buffalo, MI) Potawatomi (Milwaukee, WI) The Quad Cities / Dubuque area is also a good place to collect a number of chips in a short time. It's a nice @75 mile drive along the Mississippi River from the Quad Cities to Dubuque (passing through Clinton along the way). Jumer's Casino & Hotel (Rock Island, IL) Isle Casino Hotel (Bettendorf, IA) Rhythm City Casino (Davenport, IA) Diamond Jo Casino (Dubuque, IA) Q Casino --formerly Mystique Casino (Dubuque, IA) Wild Rose Casino Resort (Clinton, IA) A hour or 2 away from the Quad Cities: Riverside Casino & Golf Resort (Riverside, IA) Catfish Bend Casino (Burlington, IA) Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino (Peoria, IL)
Most women make better craps players then men do, they are easy to teach as long as they are not your wife. We had two young ladies from Washington state come in for the class we did back in July they did very well on the tables and play as a team in their home state or wherever they play.
I was at Pendleton, OR, last week (again), and there was a guy shooting with his two daughters. Mom was playing slots, and stopped by after a while. The man was 60ish, and the women in their 30s, I suppose. Seemed really cool to me.
I like the Wild Horse, small casino, but it makes a good rest stop after coming out of the mountains on my way to Portland.. How did you do there? The craps table still only open during prime time, still a $3 minimum?
