After watching the videos on youtube.com/user/ironwig I am confident in my sets and my grip.  But I have a few questions about the throw.  Using Ironwig’s grip and throw, Are the dice supposed to rotate backwards or not rotate at all?  What spot on the table are you aiming for? 

    I went to the casino and was throwing too hard, usually hitting a few inches before the pass line on the opposite side.  At one point the boxman said my throw was too high even though they did not go off the table.  I was using the 4’s on top and I want to try the 3V set next time I go to reduce the chance of a 7.  These questions are directed at Ironwig or anyone else with Dice Control experience that has seen his videos.

As far as landing the dice I tell everybody I see more 7 outs come from someone who lands their dice right in the crack where the felt and the rubber meet’s. Land your dice some where around the pass line to start off with, you want the dice to land under the last row of diamonds on the rubbers.

Then go out and buy a good book on dice control there are a bunch of them out there, and now comes the hard part weeding through all the bull, you might want to get Golden Touch Dice Control, They have a lot of good information, but also way to much bull in the book. Stick to the information on throwing the dice, and don’t believe anything else in the book and you will do fine.

You can get anything by Charles C. Westcott on craps, he puts out a lot of good information with out the bull, and his books are not going to try to sell you anything!

Then the one thing you need to do is practice all the time. I spend three hours a day practicing at home and then have live play in the casinos just about everyday.

It seems that you are very dedicated. How have your live sessions at the casino worked out? I am very interested in how they turned out.

If anybody tells you that they win every time they go into a casino it’s a lie, even with all the practicing we do you still have bad days where everything looks great with your shooting, and you are still getting PSO’S or short rolls. The game is all about making a profit before the 7 out comes no one can hold off the 7 out its coming and you can’t stop it!
While most of the time I can put together one or two big rolls in the twenties or above. You have to have the ability to stand there and not bet on anybody else, just betting one bet on the shooter before you, so there is no problem getting the dice. Then if you do have one of those days that nothing is going right for you, then you have to walk out and not chase your money.

There is a big difference when you live in a city or town where you can play any time you want too. You need the control to know that you can’t win every time you play.
If you buy any book and they are saying that they win every time they play they are full of it, or they give a trip report that said they won big time on a fifty roll, most of the time it didn’t happen, they are trying to sell something. I know some of the best players and shooters in the country, and they don’t win every time they go to the tables. 

I would not play the game if I didn’t practice all the time, I do not believe in luck. I want a fighting chance of winning, and that only will come from practicing your betting or shooting and know when to walk.

There is no system that will work all the time, and if there was they damn sure wouldn’t be selling it, so don’t buy anything.
