Alan- First off- what a trip…Plenty of $5 action as you inquired in town. I arrived on a Wends. and slowed down the play as $10 min. hit the tables for the weekend crowd.
I am a bit superstitious when it comes to tables and when I’m rollin lots of numbers I tend to stay put. GSR is where it all started and is where I finished on Sun. closing out my 5 day session On a $100 buy in each session and closing it down in a monster 45 minute roll produced by a young Asian fellow that could do no wrong. I usally dont bet with the shooter, but after this kid pass lined 3 times in 8 throws I began to salivate. All Aboard!!! Before I go on lets just say there is the Peppermill if you can handel the decor/colors. Too much for me, The Nugget was good as well. I stayed away from downtown area as the clientel is not my cup of tea, a little seady. So all in all ,you’ll find plenty of $5 play which is all I hunt out for and the occassional $3 which Boomtown up I-80 has, nice spot as well. On with the play @ GSR. Table play looking down the casino from the fountain wall I played the left hand table shooting LS1, nice high arc with an all 7’s opening set I bet any 7 hop and was slaying em’ I had a few good toss’s every outing w/H10,H8 facing me, and averaged 2 sessions daily. Regardless of my play if I 7’d out 3 times I walked away.I play in the early hours of the day, 5-8:30a.m. I do not drink while shootin, or show to the tables on a hangover or lack of rest. I always started with $100 buy in with each session. Wends. mid morning session colored up $300 late noon up $65. Thurs. no play. had to entertain the little lady, but she could tell I was chomping at the bit. Friday three sessions, morning up $160, an hour after breakfast, $200 ,12:30 colored in with $45 up/ Sat. moring play the crew was calling George , gotta tip those boys for sure. Had one session that yeilded me $285. Later that night lost my $100 buy, was drinking with some ol friends, hence the reason for not drinking and gambling. I loose and make stupid bets. So, the grand play for the week was that Sun. Morning session with a fellow named Long. $100 buy in I doubled my buy in another Big one as the kid threw like a pro. 45 minutes later we both colered in he crushed them for about $1500 on a $300 buy in and I walked away up $685. What a great time and I love that particular table, why because I threw on the other two and there action was nothing like the table I mentioned. The dice rolled beautiful shootin for LS side. Sorry for the long wind, but it was an outstanding weekend that recieved no pressure as I set those bones to my hearts content and tipped the crew to keep that way. I will be back!
Cheers my friend and Best of Luck to you.
