I have not seen any strategy devoted to center table bets. This betting is considered an anathema and is not discussed.

I have seen players bet the middle of the table on almost every roll, it seems, and some have made alot of money very quickly.

I was wondering if anyone here has a center table betting strategy that is fairly successful. I was curious about .......bets made, triggers to make bets, when you quit, plus anything else you would want to add. You can include the field bet and obviously hardways, even though it is not a 1 roll bet.

Center Table Bets, better know as prop bets.

I think why you are not seeing anybody writing anything about these bets, are most players know that they are bad bets, you are giving the house a 9.09% to 16.67% advantage on you, that my friend is not to smart!

I have seen players bet the middle of the table on almost every roll, it seems, and some have made alot of money very quickly.

While you might see someone getting lucky some time, just look at the odds, and that should be all you need to know about the bet not to bet the prop bets.
The casinos are not in the business to give money away, the odd on any bet tells you whether or not you should bet on that bet!

You ask for a strategy that is fairly successful, here is one for you that is the best advice I can give you if you want to win!  “Don’t Bet Them”

I am not a math guy, but you need to know the math of the game if you are going to play craps, if it looks like someone is winning big on the prop bets, stick around and you will also see them lose big.

If you don’t care about throwing your money away on the hardways, at lease have a green chip on what ever softway bet you want to bet hard, for a red chip. Then parlay the hard way if it hits.

That way you will still be losing money when the softway hits, because you gave away one red chip that could have gone in you rack, but it will at lease make you feel better getting paid on the softway bet.

You are now gambling that is the reason why you should just parlay the hit on the hardway!  You asked for it, you can take it ether way.
Remember the casinos need every buck they can get, and if you are willing to give it to them, more power to you!

A strategy I’ve seen is a betting $300 on the 6 and $300 on the 8 and supplementing that with a $75 3-way 6 and a $75 3-way 8

If a hard 6 comes up, its a $950 pay out and up to win again on the next roll

The center bets have high vigs because they have lots of variance (mostly). For example, the 30-to-1 bets have a standard deviation over five times the amount of the bet, with an HA of 13.89%. The high variance means that you don’t have to be so lucky to overcome the HA. One extra win out of 36 bets puts one well ahead; of course, it works both ways.

You don’t want to put very much of your bankroll into these bets, of course, but a dollar per shooter is a small investment in high variance. If you win one of these and are ahead for the session, I would consider parlaying - that’s $930 if you win.
