I’ve been told by many serious gamblers that fifty dollar bills are bad luck in gambling. Im not a very superstitious person at all, but you honestly dont see them very often and i definately dont want to bring bad luck if i can help it. The house holds a pretty good edge already ya know. So i guess i just heard it from ppl at local casinos and friends that have been throwin dice way longer than me. But when you really get down to it, what bills you use to buy in with, most likely hold no bearing on whether you will be a winner or loser at the table. Its just fun i guess….Similar to calling your bets off when the dice are rolled off the table and theirs a stick change.
Total BullShit !!!!!!!!!!!!
This idiotic statement by superstitious idiots warrants no further response than the above -
Advise your ” serious gamblers ” to either get a life or play monopoly - better yet try Bingo - and let them get a bell that they can ring when O69 comes up !!
Give me a friggin’ break !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow Snake Eyes your exclamation point button must be worn out.I guess you are superstitious about using it..makes you think you know what you are talking about. One “!” is enough.Ohhh and the would bullshit in red?Now thats anger…They should make a “Grumpy Old Men” remake with you and a guy I used to work for.Lets say he was the “Archie Bunker” of the 21st century.I would be happy to write a script it would be hilarious.
So what if they think that way theres no reason to get upset over it
I have run into several people who bring down their bets once the dice fly off the table.Mine is if the shooter changes dice then he will seven out in 5 rolls..thats what makes any game a little more interesting.
Hardeight,
Thanks for the warm reply -
BTW - the reference regarding Monopoly was for you - was trying to drum up a little business for your ” Monopoly Strategy ” that you offerred to sell to me for $600.-
Secondly, I never told you this - but I have an occasional stutter - perhaps that’s the reason for the numerous !‘s -
But then again, maybe not !
As an aside, when I was a PO with the East Orange Police Dept. - rumor had it that they were going to make me a ” Hostage Negotiator ” along with another PO whose stutter was so severe that it took him close to 5 minutes to say his name -
Now, that would have been an interesing scenario, to say the least -
Definately would have cut down on court costs -
You just can not make this stuff up !
