Do you prefer playing with a crowded table or one that one has a few people? I’ve seen tables that get totally crazy and to me that would be nerve wrecking.

As a beginner, I would prefer to play at a table that doesn’t have a big crowd. I would like to be able to ask the dealer questions without anyone getting mad that I am taking to long.

I like the tables that have a nice crowd. There is something about the rush of having all those people cheering for you. Plus, I enjoy talking to some of them. You can get some pretty good advice from the ones standing around the table.

I’d like to go to a table that isn’t like a ghost town, but it isn’t crowded like New Orleans at Mardi Gras, you know? Just a nice, decent sized crowd is fine for me.

You don’t need to concentrate too much in craps so a mildly crowded tables would be fine in my opinion.

Well, concentrating is exactly what you should be doing when gambling with your money, however as a beginner you should walk up to a fairly empty table.  It will more than likely be a slower paced game and less action.  This will allow you to feel comfortable.  Once you are comfortable and have your strategy set and you play the same way and know exactly what your next move will be on every roll, then i would find a table that has a decent amount of people.  It really is preference.  Only time will tell what you like.  Their are benefits to both.  Good Luck

i definately don’t like to go where there are only one or two people.  I need more help at trying to carry the ball for a big roll.  I do like a little elbow room and not so crowded that I can’t keep track of my bets as they move around the table.

Well if your a dont better the odds are in your favor therefore, more suckers at the table more chances to win.

i personally like to play in tables that are not too crowded….  But i also like tables that are packed ONLY IF THEY HAVE GOOD ACTION.

WHen they are slow, you can take your time, talk to your delears, get good advice and just have more time to focus with less distractions…

the reason i like big tables is because…  IF you are doing great, winning money for your self and making others money, they love you, cheer for you and some players will even tip you and throw money yourway.  If they bet a hardway Hop bet and win 30-1
they will most likely pay you a few bucks.  remember, the better you roll, the more money they make

so i have to say its 50 - 50 for me

Personally, I prefer a table where you don’t have to squeeze in and be “scrunched up” against somebody else, but certainly not an empty table. It’s nice to have at least five people shooting, so the dice don’t come around too often. I also like to watch the dealers make their payoffs, especially very skilled ones, so it’s nice to have some place and prop bettors at the table, although I generally stick to the pass line myself.
Cheers,

Personally I prefer playing in a crowded table . In a way it slows the game down a bit till all the bets are placed, or payed. It somehow raises the temperature of the table, more laughter, more time to think of what your next move will be. That’s just my preference. In a crowd of 16 there are sure to be at least one to two semi hot shooters. Asking dealers for advice should only be done in a non crowded table. keeping in mind, dealers are only giving you advice on the standard rule of play, they do not go into betting systems, or their own preference of play.

For don’t bettors, a few players at a quiet table represents a strong temptation. More than half-dozen or so players, among other signs, indicates that the action is most likely tending positive. More than a few times, dealers have commented on the tide turning when the table started filling up. Now whether that’s cause or effect is another question.

It’s neither cause nor effect.
