I would rather have a lonely table. That way it gets to our turn to roll the dice quicker.

All you have to do is read the post by arrgy. His post tells you that you don’t want to be playing on a crowed table, now that’s if you are a shooter and can make points you would never want to be on a crowed table. The table slows down the shooter never gets the dice back, and you see every stupid thing that can happen on a table. Most of the times when you have a full table it’s because the players don’t know what they are doing or they would not be there to begin with.

All tables start out with one player buying in, and then everyone that walks by and doesn’t know a thing about craps will buy-in. Sure you will find tables that have knowledgeable players already playing on if you are just walking through the casino and come to the table games part of the casino, but you have to know what to look for with these players.

The first thing you want to look for are the shooters making points, do they have chips in there rack, you will find most good shooter standing buy the stick person, and if you can’ shoot you should not be shooting there. Move to Stick Right or left two or three!

95% of all craps players will never even read a book on the game and the first thing they do is run to the end of the table and buy-in. Why you ask, because they saw someone winning money in the movies doing so. These are the players that will stop any good roll from lasting, they stop the game with stupid bets and stacking chips right where the shooter is landing their dice. They scream out every time someone makes points calling in everybody else that don’t know a thing about the game. The worst thing you can do on a craps table is make noise, because the table will fill-up and the game will stop!

I once saw a table that was right in front of the table I was shooting on start out with three woman on it fill up to the point that there was no room on it. They were having a great time of it screaming their heads off with every throw of the dice, to bad most of them were 7 outs.

After I was done on the table I was shooting at I walked over to see what was happening with all the noise, everybody on the table was losing, and there wasn’t even one don’t player on the table. A don’t player would have made money on that table. I don’t know what the rest of the players were thinking by staying on the table, but they just stayed and lost their money, it was all most funny to see!

You should never play craps unless you have read up on the game, and have some idea of what you are doing!
Here is an interesting blog I found on craps: http://crapsadvantageplayers.blogspot.com/ they are saying the casinos are using bad dice.

You need to do all the research you can before you ever set foot in a casino. Then never buy any system that tells you, you can win millions.

Play on tables that have one or two player on them, leave if you start to lose, don’t put too much money on the table at one time and you might stand a chance of winning, when you do have a profit walk out the door!

I walked up to a crowded table last nite with my last $15 wanted to roll had 7 or 8 shooters in front of me the guy rolling and the two before him were doing good I placed the 9 hit a couple before he was out the next guy went out rite away and I lost my profits so decided to wait for my roll. Well had I went ahead and played the rest of the guys instead of myself either the point with min. odds or the 6 and 8 or really just about any other number I would have been up 1 or 2 hundred maybe more as it was I waited 20 or 30 min just to 7 out and go home broke I may never roll again.

passthedice that link you posted was very interesting about the biased diced they claim to use in Vegas and possibly any other state except Colorado.  The skeptic in me has some questions about how the casinos do it.  Assuming they are using biased dice, they present the shooter with 5 dice to choose from.  How can they increase their odds of a seven?  What if the shooter picks two dice that are weighted on the same side, say the 3 for example.  Then the shooter is more likely to roll a hard eight.
Also, if the casinos can swing the edge even higher in their favor.  Why not play the dark side?

I would take that stuff with several grains of salt, iodized, of course.
The casinos are very, very tightly regulated and they don’t need to cheat.
Also, this guy is selling this report, just like those people sell their “dice-control” seminars.
Cheers,

Definitely Alan.  Have you read the report? ( http://crapsadvantageplayers.blogspot.com/p/biased-dice.html )  It is free to read that version.  It’s interesting that the FBI won’t do anything but refer them to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, which appears to be in the pocket of the casinos.  Specifically, they claim that the Nevada Gaming Control Board only has two dice balancing caliper and they are both very old!

Assume for a minute that the casinos are doing this on weekends and holidays.  They give a shooter five dice that are unbalanced.  Two of the dice have weighted 3’s and three of the dice have weighted 4’s. (a weighted 3 is more likely to show a 4 on top and a weighted 4 is more likely to show a 3 on top, thus making a seven)  This would give the shooter a 62.5 % chance that he would be picking a weighted combo that is more likely to make sevens and a 37.5% chance that the combo would be less likely to make sevens.  Alan is that math correct?  If it is then the casinos would swing the advantage higher in their favor.
