Questions about the Don’t come bets

I have a question about the ‘don’t come’ bets.
I have placed two don’t come bets and they have moved to the 5 and 9. No odds, just $5 bet on each.
The point is 6.
The point is rolled. Everyone else gets paid.
On the come out roll, shooter rolls a 5. Does my come bet on the 5 lose?
What if the come out is a 7, do my come 5 and come 9 win?
Thanks for any help. Trying to learn the don’t bets to get through the time a table is cold.

The answers to both of your questions are, “Yes.”  Established Don’t Come bets work on comeout rolls, so if their point is hit they lose and if a 7 is rolled they win.  BTW, by default Don’t Come odds and Lay bets also work on comeout rolls, unlike their front side counterparts.

And thank goodness for that. Can’t have those sevens working enough.

Thanks for the responses. Now I know.
I was also wondering this:
I’m the shooter. I bet the don’t pass. I roll a point, then 7 out. Do the dice move to the next player?

One thing to know about a Don’t Come bet on a Come Out roll is that it is working and the odds are working. This means a 7 on a Come Out roll causes the Don’t Come bet(s) to win. The odds portion, of the Don’t Come bet are on, live, or working.

lays can either be on or off on comeout rolls, players choice

I dont understand why you would ask if they go to the next shooter where else are they going to go?I am not trying to be mean just saying.Good part is you would win your bet.

Yeah, I guess it was kinda dumb to ask. It just feels weird to win, and then pass the dice on.

In the game of craps the seven can be your best friend or worst enemy

If a lay bet is on the table is is always ON….it is never OFF. You can’t turn it off. There are no OFF lammers for lay bets.

You must have the bet removed from the table and returned to you, if you do not want the bet.

When I’m at a table, invariably a new person will come along and ask me to explain craps to them.  My answer is generally, you put some money on the table, somebody rolls the dice, and they either take your money away or give you more.  Nobody knows why.

The ” Don’t Come ” bet like a ” Place Bet ” -

Can be removed from the layout - if the bettor - so desires -

As the ” odds ” are now with this bet winning -

This is possibly the only ” contract ” bet that the house will allow to be ” broken ” w/o penalty -

This option is not allowable with a ” come ” bet - as the bettor in this instance is considered the underdog -

And is the ” expected ” loser !

No contract bet can be removed or turned “off”....they are always working. They are in play until won or lost.

There is no “Don’t” bet that is a contract bet.
