Questions about the Don’t come bets

Yeah, I guess it was kinda dumb to ask. It just feels weird to win, and then pass the dice on.

Not a dumb question at all.  It is completely reasonable to think that after you win your flat bet that you get to keep the dice, especially since most shooters do.

Yes, Don’t Come bets are like Place bets in that a player may request to take them down.  But there is a distinction to be made between Place bets and Don’t Come bets - the latter cannot be rebooked once removed. 

And 777 is correct, Don’t bets are not contract bets. 

However 777, Lay bets can be called off just like Buy bets… at least in every place I have ever been.
