Let’s say for the sake of this conversation - my SRR is 7.0 -

The Average / Random Roller’s is determined by the odds of the dice to be 6.0 -

Both of the above ratios are ” LONG TERM ” statistics -

Question #1 - When I am the shooter - and I arrive at my 7th roll w/o 7’ing out - What do I do - Take my bets down, turn my bets off, continue as if I will make Pat DeMauro look like an amatuer ?

Question #2 - Do I play with my SRR average and take all my place bets down along with my odds on my PL bet - leaving only my PL wager w/o odds in play ?

At times - I am below and considerably above my SRR statistics -

What I mean by that is simply this -

On occasion I can roll into the teens, twenties and even the low thirties before the 7-out -

OTOH - I can not make it to satisfy the 5-count on my own shooting endeavours -

Not to mention - how many PSO’s I have encountered ! ( Point Seven Out )

Assuming I am not alone in this quagmire -

How do YOU play to your SRR ?

Mine is to place inside ( 5,6,8 and 9 ) - after the C/O roll - setting the traditional 3V - 6’s and 8’s all around - and leave everything up till I 7-out - as the shooter -

As a bettor and not the shooter I will play inside for 3 or 4 throws and then determine on a throw by throw basis whether to wait for 1 more throw or ” take me down “-

Do you factor in your average SRR when you throw or are you hoping to be another ” Pat DeMauro ” ?

My play varies based on my bankroll at any point.  Very conservative until I am padded with 3 losses with house money then I get a little more loose when i am playing on the house dime.

I vary a dont pass bet and a lay bet to cover 75% of the inside action I have in play to protect against the early 7.  I usually toss the dice 3 times after the point is established then take down all bets except the inside winnings from the first 3 rolls moved over to my original lay bet.  Then just relax and practice my dice sets.

As the night goes on and I have padded my roll with house money I vary depending on how I am shooting and mix in same basic strat except I push it to 4-5 rolls and also mix in removing my lay bet completely once I have won on 3 inside bets and if i throw a 7 on roll 4 or 5 its just a push.

Now this system listed above can make u look like the greatest craps player in the world and then turn around and make you look like the worst.  I have had times where I took down my inside bets as per my strategy and then went on to roll 10 more times before i 7’d out and looked like a idiot because I won 2.5 units and had I left my bets up I would have been up another 10-20 units.

Then other times on a choppy table this system has even made dealers get my dont pass and laybet chips I am going to win ready for me before i toss the dice the 4th time.  This also will piss the entire table off and the pitboss.

I wish I had a average of 7 but mine is more like 3-5 realistically over the course of the session.  Now this is also based off my own developed 7 grip where i try to control just one of the dice and keep it on the same axis I improve my odds.
