Did you guys hear about this.  I wonder what kind of strategy he played and if he was a dice setter?  I’ve never seen anything close to this.

Very interesting article !

Unfortunately the mystery winner was not me -

This time, anyway !

BTW -

According to the article I seriously doubt he was the only shooter for that 6 hour session -

Then again -

One never knows !

Interesting article….  you have to have been playing a very long time to be able to put down the kind of money it would take to win that kind of money.

How does that ageless saying go -

I remember now -

” It takes money to make money ” -

Another song saying goes - ” You gotta have heart ” -

On the players’ side of the table -

The word ” Heart ” could / should be substituted for the word ” Balls ” -

At times I have reservations about the betting level I will perform on myself -

With other shooters - it’s predictable -

The ” Shake, Rattle and Winger-Dingers ” that are totally uncouth are the long hand performers -

Also -

Regretably, the ones that I definately do not bet on -

Then, on the other hand -

You have shooters that exhibit finesse in their setting and throwing proficiency -

Only to experience an early 7-out -

Myself included -

Linda and I look at each other at the table when this scenario repeats itself over and over and over again -

During the course of an evening, weekend, 3 day excursion - whatever -

The only common response between us was simply -

” Go Figure ” -

I consistantly practice and these yo-yo’s - are like John Daly - ” Grip it and Rip it ” -

Totally unf*ckingbelievable -

Totally unf*ckingacceptable !

Linda is on the verge of becoming a John Daly type shooter -

I only hope if and when that occurs -

She does not decide to emulate his wardrobe !

I am not that impressed..I mean it said he was betting 100,000 in chips.Patty DeMauro still had the best accomplishment. But it is commendable he tipped the dealers so much

Maybe you are not impressed -

5.3M is a whole shit load of construction projects in my book -

And even betting ONLY 100K -

Do the math -

5.3M / 100K = approx 500+/-  100K hits -

I am impressed -

Particularly -

In a negative expectation game such as craps !

But really how do we know if he actually made a profit? He might have lost money. It never said he much he put in?It could have been 10 million for all we know.He could of hit longshot bets.He could have hit 30 to 1 on a 12 or 2 and thats 3 million right there.I have seen more impressive feats from us “riff raffs”

It says right there….. player “WINS” 5.3 Million…....  Not player “Walks away with” 5.3 Million.

It’s impressive.  No one here could fathom that kind of betting to win that kind of money.

LOL IDIOTIC…if hes betting 100,000 a point how much money do you think he bought in for…Im guessing a million. So if he multiplied his money by five..its no big deal to me.He already had tons to begin with.Oh yeah I have quintupled my money at the table but I am not laying down 100,000 a point. There are no other details except he got 5.3 million dollars…you cant believe everything you read by the media.

Reguardless if his buy in was a million be still walked away up 5x.  How many times have most craps players walked away up 4x there buy?  Its impressive that the house allowed him to bet 150k most would have shut him down once they hit a ceiling of - a mil.  That tells me the house was not sold on his skills with the dice.  Because they continued to let him bet.  Either way awesome win
