Are you like me and starting to get tired of constantly have to deal with the ” chicken feeder ” type of craps shooter -

AKA - the ” Shake, Rattle and Roller ” type shooter -

AKA - the ” Grip ‘em and Rip ‘em ” person -

If so - I have a simple and straight forward proposal for any and all concerned -

Why not get together , join forces and either totally take a table over -

Or at the least;  have a viable number of knowedgable shooters together at a table -

I’ve recently been spending time with Linda going from casino to casino - table to table,  in each of those casinos and have come to the conclusion that there has to be a better way to enhance one’s chances to pull consistent profits from thoses tables / casinos -

There might be 1, 2 or even half of the table who exhibit some semblence of a knowledgable and deliberate type of player -

Yeah, you know who I’m referring to -

The one that sets the dice and has a deliberate consistant delivery -

Doesn’t always have long hands - but produce a lot of repeatable point numbers -

Money Maker$ -

If interested -

Here’s my proposal -

1. Each player has his own bankroll and method / style of play - NO SHARED BANKROLLS -

2. Each player SHOULD be able to shoot / throw from more the 1 position - with equal precision - in the event your preferred position in unavailable -

3. Play would probably have to be on weekends due to the fact most of us have committments ( work ) during the week - but not necessarily the only time(s) available -

4. Play should be relegated to the 12’ tables and restricted to a $10 minimun table as the highest betting level - face it people $5 tables are few and far between - $15 and $25 tables do not interest my bankroll - at the present time-

5. The ONLY purpose of this is to try and get a group of practiced shooters together,  where we can benefit from each others hours of practice and liberate mucho $ from the casinos - and possibly have a fun time together on and off the tables !

I am certain that there will be comments pro and con to this proposal -

I am most interested to hear your comments - either good , bad or indifferent !

Just looking for a change for the better !

Going to AC to try and win a few ” $heckle - eckel$ ” -

Wanted to get this out before we leave in the AM .

I would be interested if I lived closer to AC.  Although I will be there for the first time in a while on the last week of this month.

ok I’ll join your team…I will take the bUs to AC but I prefer Monday to Thursday when then bus is less crowded.The bus is there for 6 hours so I can meet you from 2 to 6:30

I’d also be interested, if the day & time slot is right (due to work).

Just need to work-out the details.

Same here, I’m avail during mid-week for the next 2wks, otherwise it will have to be a Fri night or Sat.  (Have church on Sun)
My preferred shooting position is SL1 or SL2, my backup positions are on the ends, but I have to be lined up on the end, not off to the hook or something.

Also, I would be willing to meet up with others in Harrah’s Chester in PA.
They offer 5x odds, pay the vig after the buy hits, and the tables have a decent bounce.

This is what we should been doing all along instead of arging on this form…JOIN FORCES AND MAKE SOME CHEDDAR!!!

Das Boot, C’s, H’s, even the G-N has some nice tables to shoot on.

I also know someone in NJ that arranges Private Tables to shoot on, and I played on one 2 weeks ago at Das Boot (a 10 footer)!
So if you want to go that way, we can do that too.  It gets roped off, and it’ll keep everyone else away!

Why are you being so cryptic?  Are the names of the casinos a secret?  Does “B’ refer to the Borgata? And what, pray tell, is “Das Boot”?

By “Das Boot”, do you mean Showboat?  Haven’t been there for a while, but as I recall, the smoking table is good, the tables in front of the asian pit that are parallel are bad - bouncy, but the one that is perpendicular to the asian pit is very hard, like slate on a pool table.
Borgota definitely has 16 footers that are bouncy.
Harrah’s has 12-14 footers, but they are still slightly bouncy.
Bally’s is good, and Ridge is great.
Caesar’s is a good place.
Haven’t played at Plaza in a while, there was a Korean floor named Hong or something that was really paranoid and always gave heat, or instructed the box and dealers to give heat.
Haven’t played at Resorts for quite a while, but some tables were ok.

Private/reserved games are good, if the casino/crew aren’t nasty/paranoid.  The problem is they usually require a large buy in from the high roller (I believe at least $20k) with the accompanying higher table limit (usually like $100), unless prior arrangements are made for the “friends” to play at a lower level ($5-$10) - that is way out of my league and bankroll.  If, however that can be arranged - that would be the ideal playing environment.

I also belong to a few other Craps boards for many years, been playing for about 30 years.

Being that I don’t know too many people here, IMHO it’s a good idea not to mention the casino names in a public forum (if you find a good table to shoot on), just in case there are casino trolls out browsing the forums searching for the casino names.

The Private Table we shot on was only a $15 min.
There was no pre-set BI amount though.
Crew was fantastic as well.

I actually hit the 5 Fire 2 weeks ago, but I couldn’t make the dang 6 though, to complete it!

And when I played there this past Sunday, the Crew remembered me and my oldest son!

Congrats on the 5 out of 6 on the Firebet.  I hope you had the max bet on it.

Just for the heck of it, since then how many 6’s have you hit since then?????  Isn’t that the way it always goes.  I was at the Meadows, near Pittsburgh,the beginning of August with the $5 Firebet and hit 5 of 6.  Guess what my 6th point was? Yes the 6.  I was happy for the max payout ( $1,250.00 - $5 at 250 times ). Actually I thought I made it when the dice came up 5,2 I thought they were 4,2.  Hey, happy to get that far.  One day hopefully.

Again, congrats on the firebet and have read your private table report on the other board, so maybe toss in a mini trip report here to get some of the members on the fence ready to jump in.

Conversed with a fella at TE in Caeser’s regarding an Oriental fella’s throwing ” prowess ” -

Later on as we were making our way north to other casinos’ this fella - who was with his son - remarked to us - ” Are you following us ” as we actually were ahead of them and they were following us !

Back in the day a few of us newsgroupies started an informal e-mail list on which we exchanged tales and planned meet-ups in Las Vegas.  That might be a way for a team to communicate.
