I had a terrible night betting the don’t pass and DC bets at a hot table the other night. Ive been testing this system for a couple months with good success, but i never tested it at a hot table. Are there any other Don’t bettors out there that have encountered this problem?

It sure does make you feel like you’re fading the casino’s bets, and losing.  I’ve read strategies that say to stop betting after you’ve lost X number of Don’t Pass/Don’t Come bets against one shooter, until he sevens out.  This will prevent one shooter from wiping you out as the hot roll is the kiss of death for the dark sider.  But a succession of moderately “good” shooters can just as easily wipe you out.

It’s kind of like saying that you like to bet tails on coin flips and have a hard time when you encounter a lot of heads.  One of the two is going to have luck on their side over a given number of trials.

I play don’t pass/don’t come all the time.  I only take action on 4 and 10 though.

I will not do well and switch to the right side, but then I seem to loose just as surely.  I guess it’s the nature of craps.

What is the system?

Try the Star system if you can find it. Very effective. Of course you will need $4500 buy in at a $5 table.
