Ill be in Biloxi next week on business, and wanted to hear from some of you who’d played there.

I’ve got flexibility, so I’d like to hear the scoop.

Best/worst places to play?

Never been….

Tentatively staying by the airport, but I can cancel and check out one of the casino hotels for a night or two, if you all think it’d be worth it.

The Beau Rivage and Hard Rock are next door to each other.  The other places are at least long walks away from each other.  The Beua Rivage has a crapless table and a normal craps table open at least during the day, don’t know about night.  Hard Rock and all/tall/small tables,  The Grand has three tables, a crapless, a firebet and an all/tall/small.  The firebet seems to be always open, the other two open in the afternoon or night.  The Isle, I think has only one or two tables, if you don’t get tired of walking and walking and walking until you finally wander far enough to make it to the table games area.  The others I wasn’t in long enough to remember.
There is a shuttle that will take you around to the casinos for $1.25 a ride, they pride themselves on running every 15 minutes but every 30 minutes to an hour is more realistic in my experience.

Thanks so much.

I had a great time in Biloxi, surprisingly.

Hit hotwire for a room and ended up paying 56 bucks/night for a 4-star IP on the back bay. Very nice price.

Nice little casino.

6 tables, but most I ever saw live were two, a 5-min and a 10-min. 12-footers with All/Tall/Small and Under 7/Above 7 bets available.

Played about 4 sessions. First was ok, but the second was the most memorable. Last two were break evens

I went on a tear from the end of the table. I feel comfortable using the hardway set from the end of a twelve footer with as little backspin as possible. The tables at the IP in Biloxi are PRIMO for dice control. Nice and hard and those puppies hit with a SMACK!!! Really, REALLY enjoyed being the shooter on those tables. Saw a few other controllers shooting from the S1 position with some good success.

27 numbers rolled that second session. Oddly a bunch of craps. Hit four individual points and one repeater. Guy next to me in the hook is betting huge (way over the normal session bankroll for the average player at IP….I think he had 4-5k in the rack to start), and is loving my action. We got to be buds. I do remember him putting 2 and 3k several times behind his line bet and finally 4k behind his line bet. Last point was a 4 which I didn’t hit, but needless to say he made a shit ton of dough. I seven out on the 4.

Crowded table gives some applause and he leans over to me and says “this is for you” and lays some denomination of chips on the drink rack to be inconspicuous. I didn’t make a big scene, or look immediately at the chip total, but gave him a nod and a simple “thanks”.  As he walked to the cage, I reach down to find a $500 chip near my water. I thought it was an EXTREMELY generous gesture, as he ended up walking with 12-14k. What a great time. Thanks SC for the recommendations. Hope to be back soon.

It is one of the nicest tables in Biloxi. Carries a lot of heat for DI’s. Also usually crowded. Fortunately there are many alternatives not named Beau Rivage or Hard Rock. Don’t ask wink
