Not really, that was just to piss Hardeight off…....

Question, does anyone ever lay against the 4 and 10 on the come out roll only.  Once the point is established, remove the lay bets?

Seems to have worked great the few times I’ve tried it, just wondering if anyone else ever had any luck with it?

I honestly don’t know why so many people think you can make money just betting don’t on 4/10.  You have to use the same money management schemes that right-way players use.
Try this… take a pair of dice and set the 3-v like you want to hit only inside numbers.  A 4/10 don’t players dream (assuming you accept that any amout of Dice Infkluence is possible).  Now with the 3-v set 3’s on top and 6 and 2 facing you, turn only the one with the 6 facing you one face so the 6 is on the bottom and what do we have?  4 on the bottom and 10 on the top.  And that the best set for someone with DI ability to not hit 4/10.  If thats the best to avoid it, I guess that random should be a better chance to hit it.
Maybe I just don’t have the guts.  grin

I lay the 4 on everyone of my come out rolls.  Always, every time, forever.

Waht is your pass line bet for this?

There are several people out there who have had success at there betting strategy…
indeed. you certainly can have success with a betting strategy, especially if you play strictly tough: pass or come with the most odds you can afford EXCLUSIVELY…with this discipline at double odds 12% of players will be ahead after one million rolls. you cannot EXPECT to win; but you CAN win

... and are willing to sell it to you.

and indeed there are willing buyers. there is another thread on this discussion called “making a living off the felt”: successfully marketing your strategy or successfully marketing “dice control” seminars or successfully selling books on the subject are the ONLY ways one can “make a living off the felt” (so to speak)—- unless of course you are booking your own bank craps game!

I love the lay bet on the 4 or the 10 on all come out rolls. Just would not do both at same time. Pick one, change as you feel the table is changing but only use one or the other. Increase bets to increase winnings, but don’t forget to save some profit to ensure you can keep playing on the losses.

My views on this on the following thread.

WHY limit yourself to a lay bet against 1 or 2 numbers -

IF one is proficient at throwing the ” 7 ” consistantly and at will - when set for -

In MY opinion - that bettor SHOULD lay bet ACROSS -

To capitalize on his / her profiency with the dice -

AND PRESS each hit /win - UNTIL a POINT # is established -

Then TAKE DOWN ALL remaining lay bets -

That way you have the ” maximum advantage ” as I see it !

Obviously, others see otherwise -

Comments ?

Yeah, why can’t you tell them the same way you would a place bet?  I’ll admit that I don’t see people pressing lay bets that often, but I’m sure I’ve seen it once or twice… particularly if they’re laying on the come out roll.

JG…I was giving ‘the snake’ a gentle poke in the ass.

As you know, you cannot press a lay bet in the traditional sense, as your original lay bet and your winnings are usually returned to you; unlike when you are playing ‘right’.
