Hey guys, I was playing in the Hard Rock in Biloxi a couple of weeks ago and I was playing next to a high roller betting about $500 a point. I asked him in the long run if he has made money being a darkside player. He said ‘yes’ because he was not afraid to bet big when the dice were hot (or cold to th pass line player). With that being said, I was wondering how much to actually increase your bet when you get on hot streaks vs. how much to bet when it is cold. Any advice would be helpful from my fellow darkside players.

The only person who can answer your question is you, because you are the only one who knows how you will feel if you lose the increased bet you just made.  I personally base my progressions on guaranteeing a profit after only two consecutive wins—OK, except when I play Jim’s Parlay Method—but I have seen other players fully parlay winnings up to four times.  One thing you have to consider on the dark side is that if you lay odds you are winning less than you are betting, so progressing bets like you would front side will require many more consecutive wins to show a profit.
