I will be in Atlantic City to see a concert @ the Showboat /House Of Blues on the 18th.  Anyone on this board care to get together & shoot some craps?

I could probably catch you there on May 17th, but I want to go somewhere that has the firebet and I am not sure that Showboat has it, except at the table in House of Blues.  Snakeeyes posted that Hilton, Harrah’s and Caesars have it.  My last outing was at the Meadows in Washingtonville PA and I hit four numbers on a $5 firebet and let the table up about $250.  Was shooting for the 5th point number (the ‘8’ but it didn’t happen).

I’m a controlled shooter (3-finger top grip grip, backspin 2-4 rotations and try to land the dice within 12 inches of the back wall).  Prefer tables with less bounce but I have no idea what table conditions are like at AC casinos… haven’t been there in the last 5 years.

A morning outing would be best because I would like to catch a $5 table if possible.  Have a preference for any of the above?  Suggest a casino and time (say after 7:30 am) and we’ll see if we can meetup at a table

Were you and your wife approached by someone ( me ) after hitting 5 fire-bet #‘s -

That would be this Friday past at S/B - shooter inquired about ” laying the 10” as I recall -

That person made it all the way to the cashier’s cage before I could catch up to them -

I asked that person - ” Are you wip - and the woman responded ” What’s a whip ” - or something similar !

ShowBoat , baby , Show boat -

Nix the House of Blues table - target table CR-07-CR - in the 4 table pit -  sweet , so are the other 3 in that pit -

Also - REVEL is not too shabby - no Fire-Bet - a little bouncy - but controllable -

Taj also in the last week got the Fire-Bet - micro-fibre surface - AND 2” taller rail and table surface - try it you may - but as far as I’m concerned -

Too many other options available !

I agree… Showboat, along with Casesar’s, are the best places to play, although the atmosphere and crowds they get couldn’t be more different.  The high rails at the TAJ and the bouncier surface there don’t really cut it for me.  That micro-fiber you’re talking about really feels like it randomizes the roll.  Great roll at SB.  Never saw the House of Blues table open during the week… then again, never saw more than 2 tables open at any given casino during the week—except on Friday night.  What a difference from 5 or 6 years ago…

Wip?
No, that was not me.  I was @ the Boat for a little bit. Got very ill last week & mostly out-of-commision. I may have been seen, or heard barking like a walrus & caughing up who-knows-what while I played some black jack on Friday prior to the concert. But, after the show we headed next door to Revel. I walked with an extra $260.00 from there. Only to give it all (and more) to Parx in Philly on the way home.

I must say I like that Revel.
1) NO SMOKING!
2) Tall drinks in a real glass.
3)NO SMOKING.
4) They gave me money on my first visit.
5) and did I mention, no smoking,

Showboat was fun.  I walked away with lots of chips (white?).  I usually do better in the mornings.

Rolled few times but only got to hit fire bet once.

Then went to Revel and walked away with more chips.

Good trip and warm up for Vegas in few weeks.
