I like to play at ellis island. it’s kind of a hole in the wall place but they have craps after 6pm. ‘the craps table is a little table so it’s not so hard to throw the dice. it’s great for people trying to learn dice setting and throwing.
in vegas if you dont mind driving to henderson about 10 miles away theres a casino called eldorado that has 1 dollar craps the table is open from like 2pm til midnight or 1 am depending on the action, they also have 10x odds and theres several places(in vegas) that have 3 dollar craps but a few of them kinda cheat u on the odds(for place bets) and some places dont allow dice setting,,one plce is called wild wild west casino i dont remember them all, eldorado casino doesnt cheat on odds because they have 25 cent chips so if u make ur dollar bets proper u get odds correct for example u would play inside numbers divisible by 5 on 4,5,9, and 10 and multiple of 6 on 6 and 8 so ud bet 1.25 on outside4,5,9,and 10 and 6 and 8 ud bet 1.50 and press in the same manner so far thats the only place ive found with dollar craps in vegas but there are lots of 3 dollar tables,, but still they cheat u out of ur odds unless u make 5 dollar bets so ur always making an even 3 on 3 dollar place bet . but they pay u true odds on your passline odds bets. these places aregood if u dont have a big bank roll and or just want to practice in a real world setting while winning a few bucks. i would go to eldorado with 25 dollar bank roll and sometimes do very well taking 200 home other times id lose 25 and mabe another 25 but playing a few hours and not hurting my wallet. personally dont care for the 3 dollar tables in any place ive played in vegas, but still its good fun.
The stratosphere has crapless craps also. Good times if you have a decent bankroll. 2 and 12 pay 6 to 1 and 3 and 11 pay 3 to 1. If you have the money to bet the extreme outside their is definately opportunately to make a quick profit. Very risky if your playing with scared money though. The only other cool thing i found was an outdoor craps table at the wynn. The sun, pool, drinks, and craps. If you haven’t been their, put it on your list of things to do on your next trip. Caesars also recently set up blackjack in one of their pools. You can sit in the water and play at a blackjack table right next to a bar with big screen tv’s. Other than that, my experiences are that caesars has the best craps tables as far as professionalism with dealers and boxmen.

el dorado is no longer offering craps or roulette
so go to jokers wild
$2 craps
sometimes even $1
they let you set the dice and dont bother you
in fact, i was there two nights ago and the pit boss was watching me toss and said, “man ive seen the golden touch craps and still cant figure out how to throw. lol it was funny
and then when another older guy came in, he looked at me and said, he you wanna bet on him, he comes here like you, to practice
lol
Going to vegas at the end of the month.. Anyone have any information on the SouthPoint Hotel ? Thinking about staying there, but currently have three comped tower rooms at the luxor.. Not sure if I wanna stay there again, or try something else..
New to the forums.. and liking the information on here! Excited to try some things out on my next trip..
Short bank player can play the Joker’s Wild, the Railroad Pass. The off strip bet is Ellis Island with a $5 table and I played the Tuscany too, with a $5 table.
But the Hardrock has a poolside table if your into that kind of thing, bb. Also, another off the strip casino with a shorty table is the Wildfire Casino off of north rancho just across from the Texas Station, great local hangout. They have great food and lots of BEER!
But as I said before, Sam’s Town on boulder hwy has 100x the odds on their table. You just cant beat that; they also have a strip shuttle to take you back and forth. And vegas’s greatest meat market has got to be dylan’s dance hall and saloon next door.
